摘要: Blockchain-based systems and methods are used to control access to property. One system includes a mobile device, a key fob, and a server. The mobile device generates an encrypted code and transmits it to the key fob. The key fob transmits the encrypted code to the property and the server updates a log of the key fob in a hyper ledger. The property includes a computing device that validates the encrypted code and grants a key fob user access to the property. Another system includes a server that validates an access key and a first station that transmits an access key to a second station via the server and a satellite. The second station transmits data to the first station via the server and the satellite. The server saves a transmission log in a hyper ledger and transmits the access key in response to a request by the first station.

摘要: Disclosed is a device and process for marking and detecting labels with spectral band authentication features utilizing a reader that can be affixed to a smart phone and positioned so as to align the lens of the phone's camera with a reader aperture. The reader aperture allows the camera to view an item through a spacer, wherein a UV and IR light source is used to reveal indicia within invisible ink. The light source employs a distinct emission spectrum characterized by narrow peaks and gaps which can illuminate pigment of the invisible ink that is selectively responsive at the wavelengths of specific peaks and/or unresponsive at the gaps in the spectrum. The smart phone captures the indicia revealed and interfaces with a cloud-based database to provide verification of authenticity.

摘要: A bioptic barcode reader is disclosed for selective use of illumination color to capture appropriate data. The bioptic barcode reader includes a housing and a primary imager positioned within the housing, configured to scan a target object during a first time period. The bioptic barcode reader further includes a primary illumination source positioned within the housing configured to emit primary illumination in a primary wavelength range during the first time period. The bioptic barcode reader further includes a secondary imager configured to capture one or more images of a target object during a second time period. The bioptic barcode reader further includes a secondary illumination source configured to emit secondary illumination in a secondary wavelength range during the second time period, wherein the second time period and first time period are interleaved and the secondary wavelength range is different from the primary wavelength range.

摘要: An infectious disease transmission tracking system (10) includes a real-time locating system (RTLS) (12) configured to track locations of tags (14, 15) in a monitored area. At least one electronic processor (22) is in operative communication with the RTLS to receive locations of tags in the monitored area. A non-transitory storage medium stores, a map (30) of the monitored area; a nodes database (32) storing information on nodes (18) in which each node is a person, a mobile object, or a map zone and the nodes database stores information on the nodes including at least (i) an identification of each node as a person, a mobile object, or a map zone, (ii) an identification of a tag associated with each node that is identified as a person or a mobile object, (iii) locational information on the map for each node that is identified as a map zone, and (iv) an infection likelihood for each node with respect to a tracked pathogen; and a pathogen database (34) storing infectious transmission information for at least the tracked pathogen including one or more transmission modes for the tracked pathogen and at least one node residency time for the tracked pathogen. The non-transitory storage medium includes instructions readable and executable by the at least one electronic processor to perform an infectious disease transmission tracking method (100) including: computing a pathway (35) on the map of at least one infected node using locations of the tag associated with the infected node received from the RTLS wherein an infected node has a non-zero infection likelihood respective to the tracked pathogen which satisfies an infected criterion; computing an infectious zone (36) on the map along the pathway using the infectious transmission information stored in the pathogen database; for each node contacting the infectious zone, adjusting the infection likelihood of the contacting node in the nodes database based on at least the infectious transmission information for the tracked pathogen and designating the contacting node as an infected node if the updated infection likelihood of the contacting node satisfies the infected criterion.

摘要: A method of decoding one or more barcodes on a target object with an imaging scanner is described. The imaging scanner comprises an image sensor and a dynamic linear polarizer. The method includes the following: (1) capturing at least one image of the target object through the dynamic linear polarizer with the imaging sensor while the dynamic linear polarizer is set to a different defined polarization during each of N time periods; and (2) processing at least N images of the target object to decode the one or more barcodes on the target object. At least one image that is captured during each of the N time periods. Here, N is an integer that can be three, four, five, six, or other natural numbers.

摘要: A method and system for item marking and identification, representing an alternative to bar code reading, based on a a time-varying post emission of a plurality of fluorescent/phosphorescent items embedded into a marker embodiments of the present invention thus providing optical markers for information exchange. In a typical embodiment, information to be transmitted is divided into packets, whereas each packet represents a unique wavelength spectrum or signature. The said emission signature is generated in packets as a response to an activation signal is then analyzed sequentially. The varying spectral content of each said packet encodes a symbol, while symbol's position is encoded with the timing of the after-emission packet.
