Abstract: A rotor of an electric machine has multiple segments arranged adjacent to one another in an axial direction, wherein each of the segments has multiple magnetic poles which are arranged coaxially with respect to an axis of rotation of the electric machine and so as to be evenly distributed in a circumferential direction of the segment. The segments are arranged in the circumferential direction such that the magnetic poles of adjacent segments which are adjacent to one or more middle segments are rotationally offset in a first angular direction in relation to the magnetic poles of the one or more middle segments. The magnetic poles of segments which adjoin the adjacent segments toward the outside are rotationally offset in a second angular direction which is opposite to the first angular direction.

Abstract: A tangential motor, a tangential motor rotor and a rotor core thereof are provided. The rotor core includes a rotor body and magnetic steel grooves provided on the rotor body. 2N magnetic isolation holes are provided in a rotor magnetic pole between every two adjacent magnetic steel grooves. The 2N magnetic isolation holes are symmetrically provided at two sides of a magnetic pole center line of the rotor magnetic pole. A width of each of the magnetic isolation holes increases from a circle center of the rotor body to an outer side of the rotor body. Outer side hole surfaces, close to the outer side of the rotor body, of the magnetic isolation holes are arc-shaped surfaces which are concentrically arranged with the rotor body. The rotor core is able to reduce the vibration noise of the motor and increase the efficiency of the motor.

Abstract: A tangential motor, a tangential motor rotor and a rotor iron core thereof. The rotor iron core includes a rotor body and permanent magnet slots provided on the rotor body, a rotor magnetic pole between two adjacent permanent magnet slots being provided with a fixing hole for fixing a rotor punched segment and a flux isolating hole; the flux isolating hole is located at an outer side of the fixing hole in a radial direction of the rotor body, a width of the flux isolating hole (12) smoothly increases in a direction from the outer side of the rotor body to a center of a circle thereof. The rotor iron core reduces vibration noise of the motor, and improves efficiency of the motor.

Abstract: A stator assembly includes a stator having a plurality of teeth which are distributed around a circumference of the stator and point toward a central axis of the stator. The teeth alternately have a first cross-sectional profile and a second cross-sectional profile, and a plurality of slots being formed between the teeth. A plurality of coils are disposed around the teeth having the first cross-sectional profile. The second cross-sectional profile has a parallel-sided stem portion and an adjoining tapered head portion. A height of the stem portion of the second cross-sectional profile is less than a height of a respective one of the coils that is disposed around an adjacent one of the teeth having the first cross-sectional profile.

Abstract: A rotor assembly of a motor is configured to be rotatable relative to a stator. The rotor assembly may comprise a permanent magnet rotor segment comprising permanent magnets, the permanent magnet rotor segment configured to be rotatable by a magnetic field generated by the permanent magnets; and a reluctance rotor segment comprising a plurality of flux barriers, the reluctance rotor segment configured to be rotatable by magnetic reluctance formed by the flux barriers. The permanent magnet rotor segment and the reluctance rotor segment may be axially stacked relative to each other so that at least a part of a first torque ripple generated by the permanent magnet rotor segment and at least a part of a second torque ripple generated by the reluctance rotor segment can cancel each other. The permanent magnet rotor segment may be a rare earth permanent magnet rotor, and the reluctance rotor segment may be a synchronous reluctance rotor.

The rotor thus obtained can suppress increase in cogging torque while suppressing decrease in torque.

Abstract: A motor includes a shaft that extends in an axial direction, a rotor including a field magnet, a stator, a resolver positioned farther toward one side of the motor in the axial direction than the rotor and the stator, and a shield including at least a portion is between the rotor and the resolver in the axial direction. The shield includes a bottom portion of which at least a portion is between the rotor and the resolver in the axial direction and which includes a through-hole through which the shaft passes, and a convex portion that extends from the bottom portion toward the other side in the axial direction. A front end portion of the convex portion is positioned farther toward an inner side of the motor in a radial direction than an outer circumferential portion of the field magnet when viewed in the axial direction.
