    Abstract: A rotating electrical machine includes a magnetic field-producing unit and a magnetic carrier. The magnetic field-producing unit includes a magnet unit equipped with magnetic poles arranged to have magnetic polarities. The rotating electrical machine includes an armature equipped with a multi-phase winding. The magnet unit is mounted to a stator-side peripheral surface of the magnet carrier. The rotating electrical machine incudes a cylindrical restriction member mounted on the stator-side peripheral surface of the magnet unit. The restriction member is configured to restrict radial movement of the magnet unit relative to the magnet carrier. The restriction member has a stacked configuration stacked in an axial direction of the rotor.

    Abstract: A rotating electric machine includes a field system, which includes a magnet section, and an armature. The magnet section includes a plurality of magnets that are arranged at predetermined intervals and in alignment with each other in a circumferential direction. The magnets have easy axes of magnetization oriented such that at locations closer to a d-axis, the directions of the easy axes of magnetization are more parallel to the d-axis than at locations closer to a q-axis. In the magnets, magnet magnetic paths are formed along the easy axes of magnetization. The field system further includes a field-system core that is formed of a soft-magnetic material. The field-system core has protrusions protruding to the armature side. Each of the protrusions is located closer to the q-axis than to the d-axis in the circumferential direction. Circumferential end surfaces of the protrusions respectively abut circumferential end surfaces of the magnets.

    Abstract: The invention discloses a magnetic core, which includes a ring-shaped body portion and a plurality of magnetic pole portions connected to the body portion. The magnetic pole portions are arranged on an inner surface of the body portion in a circumferential direction. The body portion and the magnetic pole portions are connected to each other. Each of the magnetic pole portions is triangular and includes a top end and two free ends. The top end is connected to the body portion. Two side surfaces on both sides of the top end of the magnetic pole portion are respectively opposite to and spaced apart from an inner surface of the body portion to form a first receiving groove and a second receiving groove, the first receiving groove and the second receiving groove are used for receiving magnets, and the first receiving groove and the second receiving groove have open ends in an inner surface of the magnetic core. The magnetic core of the present invention has a significant magnetization effect and helps to increase the power density of the motor.

    Abstract: A motor includes a stator and a rotor. The stator carries a plurality of phase windings and the rotor carries a plurality of magnet poles and is connected to a shaft. The stator has a ferromagnetic material defining a yoke and a plurality of teeth and further includes at least one band of electrically conductive material that encompasses at least a portion of one of the teeth or encompasses at least a portion of the yoke in a region between adjacent teeth and is in direct contact with the tooth. The band provides an electrical path between the band and the portion of the tooth or yoke. The band wraps around upper and lower end regions of the portion of the tooth or yoke and extends axially down the opposing side faces of the tooth or yoke. The band is isolated from any external source of motor drive current.

    Abstract: A motor includes a rotor molded by resin casting, and a stator disposed inside the rotor. The rotor includes a cylindrical portion in which a plurality of magnets are arranged side by side in a circumferential direction. The magnets are exposed on a side of an open end as one end of the cylindrical portion in an axial direction of the cylindrical portion. The cylindrical portion includes an inner resin located inside each of the magnets in a radial direction of the cylindrical portion. The inner resin includes a first resin portion, and a second resin portion closer to the open end than the first resin portion in the axial direction. A sectional area of the second resin portion perpendicular to the axial direction is smaller than a sectional area of the first resin portion perpendicular to the axial direction.
