    摘要: A method of providing ride-through capability in a chiller/refrigeration system employs a variable speed drive with an active converter stage, a DC link stage and an inverter stage for providing variable frequency and voltage to power at least one motor. An induction motor is coupled to the output of the inverter stage for driving a compressor in the chiller/refrigeration system. The ride-through method comprises operating the active converter to regulate the DC link voltage of the DC link stage to a predetermined voltage level until the current through the active converter equals a predetermined current limit, then transferring regulation of the DC link to the inverter upon reaching the current limit of the converter. The compressor is unloaded, and the power flow through the inverter is reversed to maintain the voltage level of the DC link stage. Pre-rotation vanes, slide valve, or check valve are used to unload the compressor.

    摘要: A fan speed control circuit includes a pulse width modulation (PWM) signal generating circuit, a driving circuit and a phase compensation unit. The PWM signal generating circuit generates a PWM control signal with a sequence of alternating on-time and off-time, and the driving circuit outputs a driving signal according to the PWM control signal to a fan motor. The phase compensation unit is connected to the fan motor for delaying or advancing the PWM control signal by a phase angle to synchronize the acting period of the back electromotive force formed by the magnetic flux variation with the off-time of the PWM control signal. The present invention further provides a bi-power motor driving system including a motor rotating by receiving a first power from a first power generator, and a driving circuit for driving the motor according to a second power from a second power generator.

After the BLDC motor switches to sensorless mode, the BLDC motor operates according to a third scheme in which the first phase commutation section of a period has a time interval equal to the average of time intervals of first phase commutation sections of periods prior to the period.

    摘要: An electronically commutated motor (10) is adapted to be powered directly by an AC voltage (UAC) source, and comprises a permanent-magnet rotor (18), a stator having at least one winding phase (L1, L2, . . . , Ln), a rectifier (38) which generates, from the AC voltage (UAC), a pulsating DC voltage (UB) between a positive lead (30) and a negative lead (32) of a DC link (15). Also present is a bridge circuit (28A, 28B, 28C), connected to that DC link (15) and provided to supply current to the at least one winding phase (L1, L2, . . . , Ln), which comprises a switching element (50) controllable with a control voltage (UST) that is lower than the pulsating DC voltage (UB) to be switched.     摘要: A commutator motor can be set to different speeds by changing the external circuit connections between the single phase AC supply line and the stator field winding. The field winding is distributed in slots over at least part of the circumference of the stator bore and the field winding connection is switched, when going from a lower to a higher speed, in such a way that the axis of the stator field is rotated in the direction of rotation of the motor. For improved performance, the number of excitation turns may also be changed, simultaneously with the rotation of the field axis. The motor is particularly useful for automatic washing machine drives having a universal motor.
