摘要: Movable barrier monitoring apparatus and methods are provided for rapidly responding to barrier travel obstructions and other abnormal occurrences to cause the movable barrier operator to halt barrier travel or stop and reverse barrier travel, while ignoring typical and normal impediments to barrier travel. Alternate methods are described for programming the barrier operator controller to compare characteristics of the monitored barrier run over the defined travel path with the characteristics of a good barrier run without interruption to barrier travel, with the degree of differentiation of such characteristics determinative of whether the operator controller is to interrupt barrier travel or not.

摘要: An apparatus includes a first fuse having a first breaking capacity, a first set of time-current characteristics, and a first rating; a second fuse having a second breaking capacity, a second set of time-current characteristics, and a second rating. The second set of time-current characteristics is different from the first set of time-current characteristics and the second rating is different from the first rating. The first fuse and the second fuse are connected in series, the value of the first breaking capacity is set such that at a high current fault condition the first fuse acts to interrupt the current before the second fuse, and the value of the second set of time-current characteristics is set such that at a locked rotor condition of the motor unit the second fuse acts to interrupt the current before the motor unit reaches a maximum winding temperature.

The system includes a motor operably connectible to a tailgate to open and close the tailgate, a processor, and a memory communicably coupled to the processor. The memory stores a tailgate control module including instructions that when executed by the processor cause the processor to, responsive to a value of a motor speed parameter being above a predetermined motor speed threshold and a value of a motor acceleration parameter being above a predetermined motor acceleration threshold during opening of a tailgate, control operation of the motor to apply a braking force to the tailgate.

摘要: A controller for controlling a motor of a closure and/or blind in a vehicle body is configured to determine a reference state signal comprising speed and/or current measurements, repeatedly estimate motor model parameters of the motor, determine an estimated state signal based on an input signal comprising measurements or estimates of a voltage, the estimated motor model parameters, the reference state signal and an error signal, the error signal representing a difference between the reference state signal and the estimated state signal, determine a disturbance observer signal from the error signal, compute a first derivative of the disturbance observer signal at a present moment, and reverse the motor upon determining that the first derivative of the disturbance observer signal exceeds a threshold.

摘要: A system and method for determining the load in a material handling system is disclosed. The load weight detection system measures torque at four operating conditions both at constant speed and during acceleration. The level of torque generated by the motor under each of these operating conditions is stored in the motor drive. The motor drive also receives a signal corresponding to the speed of the hoist motor. Based on the measured torque, as well as the expected torque at no load and at rated load for the measured speed, the motor drive then determines the load present on the hoist. In some systems, two or more hoists are required to operate in tandem to lift a load. Each motor drive determines the weight of the load supported by its respective hoist motor and determines a total weight of the load based on the weights determined by each motor drive.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to actuators. The teachings thereof may be embodied in an actuator drive for a flap or for a valve for setting a gaseous or liquid volume flow, for example in the heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning of a building, for a DC motor with a reduction gear connected downstream and a gearbox-side output. The actuator may include: a motor control unit and a voltage supply unit. The motor may be a brushless two-phase DC motor with a stator comprising a quadruple T armature, each armature comprising an armature coil and a radially outward-lying rotor mounted to rotate relative to the stator. Each armature may have precisely four alternating permanent magnetic poles uniformly distributed. The rotor is connected to a spring applying a restoring force to the rotor if the rotor is deflected from a rest position. The motor control unit includes switches for the DC motor and connects the armature coils to the voltage supply unit as a function of a rotational position of the rotor and the armature coils are interconnected in such a way that, when subjected to current excitation, two adjacent armature coils never form magnetic poles having the same polarity.

摘要: A motor is driven to rotate in a closing direction in an ordinary region other than a full close position immediately ahead region. An interposition determination unit determines whether or not interposition occurs while a windowpane is closing. If the interposition determination unit determines that interposition occurs, the motor is driven in a reverse direction to open the windowpane by a predetermined amount. The interposition determination unit continuously determines interposition after the closing windowpane enters the full close position immediately ahead region. If the determination unit determines that the interposition occurs while the windowpane is closing in the full close position immediately ahead region, the control unit stops driving the motor to stop the windowpane.
