摘要: A pipe racking system includes a diving board having a guide rail, a trolley, a manipulator, and a gripper. The trolley has two sides being mounted to the diving board via the guide rail and being driven by a rack and pinion member. The gripper is connected to an end of the manipulator away from the trolley. The trolley includes two pairs of combined bearings and two pairs of eccentric wheels. The gripper is configured to grip a tubular subject and include two opposing flippers, two first electric putters, and two springs. The two first electric putters is configured to control the two flippers. One end of each spring of the two springs is connected to a flipper of the two flippers and the other end of the each spring is connected to a push rod of a first electric putter of the two first electric putters.

摘要: Methods of positioning a gripper to pick or place a specimen container from a sample rack. One method includes providing a robot including the gripper, the gripper moveable in a coordinate system by the robot and including gripper fingers, providing a sample rack including receptacles containing specimen containers, providing data, obtained by imaging, regarding the specimen containers in the sample rack, and dynamically orienting the gripper based upon the data. The data may include population and/or configuration data and the dynamic orientation may include gripper finger opening distance, gripper finger rotational position, and/or gripper offset distance. Gripper positioning apparatus for carrying out the method are disclosed, as are other aspects.

摘要: An apparatus for loading/unloading workpieces, including a furnace heating a workpiece, and a robot loading and/or unloading a workpiece into/from the furnace. The robot may include a manipulator linkage and a fork at an end of the manipulator linkage. The fork may have an upper side on which a workpiece is placed while being loaded into and/or unloaded from the furnace. The fork may include a parallel arrangement of fork elements, each fork element in the fork having a length and rectangular cross section perpendicular to the length. Each fork element may have a workpiece carrying surface on which a workpiece is placed and an opposite surface to the workpiece carrying surface. The fork element may include a heat insulator disposed on the workpiece carrying surface at least over an area where a workpiece is placed to equalize longitudinal thermal expansions in the workpiece carrying surface and the opposite surface.

The manufacturing apparatus also includes a guide slidably engaged to the base, wherein the guide directs the strip to be helically wound about the clamshell and cover with a base slide mounted adhesive nozzle that affixes the primary and secondary end portions of the strip to the cover and clamshell with a head that cuts and holds the strip with the head slidably engaged to the base.

摘要: A plate transport device includes a main body, first and second moving members and first and second elastic members. The main body has an intermediate supporter. The first and second moving members have first and second supporters, respectively. The first and second moving members are supported to be movable in a first direction with respect to the main body. The first elastic member is provided between the intermediate supporter and the first supporter, and supplies a first biasing force directed toward the intermediate supporter in the first direction to the first moving member. The second elastic member is provided between the intermediate supporter and the second supporter, and supplies a second biasing force, which is directed toward the intermediate supporter in the first direction and opposite to the direction in which the first biasing force is directed, to the second moving member.
