摘要: A low leakage current fluid heater and systems and methods thereof. The fluid heater has a configuration whereby a heating element is isolated from a fluid channel so as to leak into fluid passing through the channel an allowed amount of leakage current. Fluid passing through the fluid heater can be heated to a desired temperature. A controller can provide control signals to driver the fluid heater to the desired temperature and maintain the temperature at the desired temperature.

摘要: A combined heat and power plant includes a gasifier, a heat exchanger arranged to reduce the temperature of the raw synthesis gas formed in the gasifier by exchanging the heat of the raw synthesis gas into heating medium used for heating and forming cooled raw synthesis gas, a filtration unit for cleaning the cooled raw synthesis gas to form refined synthesis gas suitable as a fuel for an internal combustion engine, an internal combustion engine where the refined synthesis gas is burnt to produce mechanical power, ducts for connecting different parts of the plant to each other a raw gas burner arranged after the gasifier to burn the raw synthesis gas formed in the gasifier during the time when the refined synthesis gas is not utilized in the internal combustion engine. A method for treating raw synthesis gas a combined heat and power plant is also disclosed.

摘要: A heater comprises an inlet for a medium to be heated, an outlet for the medium, and at least two cassettes. Each cassette comprising a first plate comprising a first main surface and a second plate comprising a second main surface. The first and second plates are attached to each other and enclose a respective flow channel for the medium. The cassettes are arranged beside each other with a space between the cassettes for an electric heating element. The electric heating element abuts the first main surface of one of the cassettes and the second main surface of the adjacent cassette. The heater comprises two distance members extending between the one cassette and the adjacent cassette. The distance members define the space.

The straightening vane includes a top plate portion covering the plurality of heat transfer plates so as to close a space between the plurality of heat transfer plates in end portions of the plurality of heat transfer plates in a direction intersecting with a direction of layering of the plurality of heat transfer plates when the heat exchange portion is viewed from the inlet toward the outlet.
