A three-dimensional turbo spin echo imaging method of applying, within a repetition time TR, N groups of pulses to respectively scan N slabs in succession, with each group including one excitation pulse and more than one refocusing pulse, wherein N is a positive integer greater than 1, is improved by applying a first slice selection gradient at the same time as applying each said excitation pulse, and applying a second slice selection gradient at the same time as applying each said refocusing pulse, and applying a phase encoding gradient after having applied each refocusing pulse, then applying a frequency encoding gradient and acquiring scan signals during the duration of the frequency encoding gradient. An image according to the scan signals is reconstructed.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to delivery systems to enhance the bioavailability of flavonoids to improve human health. Flavonoids of interest include but are not limited to curcumin, resveratrol, ellagic acid, naringenin, and quercetin. Flavonoids are important in part because they are known to have beneficial effects on human health, including cardioprotective, antioxidant, and anticancer effects. Utility has been limited by low bioavailability, both in the sense of requiring high doses and in that it has been difficult to carry out proper dose-response studies in the absence of methods to control the actual dose administered. In addition to pharmaceutical applications, there are potential nutraceutical uses, for example in supplements that might be sold in health food stores and pharmacies.

Disclosed herein are representative embodiments of generating representative motion information that can be used during processing of a video frame. In one exemplary embodiment disclosed herein, a reference frame comprising a group of blocks is processed, and motion information for the group of blocks is compressed at least by buffering representative motion-vector information and representative reference-frame index information for the group of blocks. The representative reference-frame index information comprises reference-frame index information of a representative block of the group of blocks, and the representative reference-frame index information represents reference-frame index information for the group of blocks during processing of a current frame.
Abstract:
A method and system for receiving magnetic resonance signals, and a magnetic resonance imaging system are provided. The method includes dividing coil units in a receiving coil array into different coil unit groups. For each of the coil unit groups, correlations are established between carrier frequencies and the signals received by each coil unit in the coil unit group. Low noise amplification is performed, and filtering and frequency mixing is performed on the signals received by all the coil units in the coil unit group according to the correlations to obtain intermediate frequency signals borne on the respectively corresponding carrier frequencies of an identical channel. After performing amplification and filtering on the intermediate frequency signals, the intermediate frequency signals are output to an analog-to-digital conversion unit to perform digital sampling so as to obtain digital domain signals.

A brushless motor comprises a stator and a rotor rotatably mounted to the stator. The rotor comprises a shaft, a rotor core fixed onto the shaft and magnets fixed to the rotor core. Two covers are fitted to respective ends of the rotor core, with one of the covers covering one end of the rotor core and at least a part of the radially outer peripheral surface of the rotor core, while the other cover at least covering the other end of the rotor core. Preferably, the entire peripheral surface of the rotor core is substantially covered by the two covers and the gap between the two covers is sealed by adhesive.

In a method and device for side-band suppression, a positive eddy current correction factor and negative eddy current correction factor are determined and scanning N/2 times by a positive gradient takes place, and the positive gradient scanning signal is collected during each scan. Scanning N/2 times by a negative gradient also takes place, and the negative gradient scanning signal is collected during each scan. N is an even number. An eddy current correction of the N/2 positive gradient scanning signals collected according to the positive eddy current correction factor is performed as an eddy current correction of the N/2 negative gradient scanning signals collected according to the negative eddy current correction factor. The side-band suppressed spectrum signal according to the N/2 positive gradient scanning signals that have undergone the eddy current correction is calculated, as is the N/2 negative gradient scanning signals that have undergone the eddy current correction. The method and device according to the present invention can effectively suppress the side band.
Abstract:
A light-emitting diode (LED) structure includes a substrate, a plurality of LED chips, a first colloid, a second colloid, and a lens. The substrate is provided with at least one retaining section, and the LED chips are mounted on the substrate and covered by the first colloid. The second colloid is located to one side of the first colloid opposite to the substrate. The lens is provided with at least one catching section correspondingly engaged with the at least one retaining section, so that the lens is connected to the substrate to form a unitary body through engagement of the catching section with the retaining section and closes the LED chips, the first colloid and the second colloid in between the lens and the substrate. With these arrangements, the LED structure can have upgraded lighting efficiency and allows quick change of LED color temperature or LED beam angle.
