Provided are a voltage divider circuit with high detection precision, a small circuit area, and a reduced chip size, and a semiconductor device including the voltage divider circuit. The voltage divider circuit includes: a first resistor circuit formed to have a resistance that is weighted according to a binary code; a second resistor circuit formed to have a resistance that is weighted according to the same binary code; and a third resistor circuit including a third resistor having a resistance that is weighted according to the same binary code to have a maximum weighted bit count, in which both ends of the third resistor are alternatively connected to an output terminal by two transmission gates.

The technical subject is realizing a highly useful input-output device which can be used alone to independently input and output information, and, when connected with an information processing device, can function as an input device that depends on the applications of the information processing device. The input-output device comprises: a function of recognizing whether a connection with the information processing device through a connection unit is present by the connection recognition unit and transmitting a code value and/or a coordinate value converted by a processing unit to the information processing device through the connection unit; and a function of outputting the content data from the output unit or controlling operation based on the operation instruction when the connection recognition unit does not recognise a connection between the connection unit and the information processing device. The provided functions make the disclosed input-output device highly useful.

A handwriting input/output system that allows letters, characters and figures to be input by hand is provided easily and with low cost. The objective is to easily provide a handwriting input/output system with low cost, in which an imaging means captures and transmits the image of a medium provided with a writing area having a dot pattern that defines coordinate information and code information, dot pattern analysis means calculates trajectory information by storing the image data of the dot pattern and analyzing the code of the image data, trajectory recognition means recognizes the trajectory information of the letter, character, and figure traced on the writing area based on a change in the analyzed coordinate information, process instruction means transmits a process instruction based on the recognized information together with the trajectory information to information processing means, whereby a letter, character, figure and the like can be input by hand. Also, provided is a handwriting input and output system capable of inputting not only information of letters, characters, and figures but also related information thereto.

A train control device includes a first acquisition unit for acquiring a change history of open block numbers as the number of blocks existing between a present train and a leading train, a setting unit for setting a brake pattern having a starting point coinciding with an end point of a block existing just behind a block occupied by the leading train, and a calculating unit for calculating a time taken for the leading train to come out from the block existing just behind the block occupied by the leading train and for calculating, as a target speed, the highest speed available within a range not conflicting with the brake pattern.

With the aim of realizing an easy and inexpensive method of realizing a “stealth” dot pattern, whose presence on a medium surface is not visually recognizable, merely through minor improvements in the existing printing technology, the present invention provides dots which form a dot pattern by printing these dots using an ink of any color reactive in the infrared or ultraviolet wavelength range on a medium surface on which a dot pattern is to be formed, for use with a dot pattern reading system that irradiates infrared or ultraviolet light on a medium surface having a dot pattern provided thereon, recognizes the dot pattern by reading the reflections of the light with an optical reading means, converts the dot pattern into the corresponding data, and outputs the text, voice, images and so forth contained in the data.

A quadrangular or rectangular area on a medium surface of a printed material and the like is defined as a block. A straight line in a vertical direction and a horizontal direction nuclear along an edge of the block is defined as a reference grid line. A virtual grid point is placed at a predetermined interval on the reference grid line. A reference grid point dot is placed each on a virtual grid point on the horizontal reference grid lines. A straight line connecting the reference grid point dots and virtual grid points on a vertical line is defined as a grid line. An intersection point of grid lines is defined as a virtual grid point. A dot pattern is generated by arranging one or more information dots having a distance and a direction on the base of the virtual grid point. An optical reading means is used to scan the dot pattern into image information. Then, the dot pattern is converted into a numerical value, and the information corresponding to the numerical information is read from a storage means and output.

The present inventors identified inhibition of a combination of EGFR ligands that serve as targets for inhibition of cancer cell proliferation. More specifically, EREG antagonists and TGFα antagonists were found to be useful as inhibitors of cell growth. The present invention relates to pharmaceutical compositions containing EGF family ligand antagonists as components.

The present invention proposes a dot pattern on which code information and x and y coordinate information can be defined even if the dot pattern is extremely small, and proposes an information reproducing method and an information reproducing device based on the dot pattern. More specifically, a medium such as a printed material on which is formed a dot pattern portion by arranging in accordance with a given rule dots generated by a dot code generating algorithm in order to recognize various kinds of multimedia information is scanned as image data by scanning means. Then, the image data is converted into code data. Multimedia information corresponding to the code data is read out of storing means to be reproduced.
