摘要: An openable structure, such as a greeting card or book, with a body, a cam lift mechanism, and at least one decorative element fixed to tab portions of the cam lift mechanism extending through cam slots in the body. The cam lift mechanism is actuatable by pivoting subpanels of the body away from each other. Pivoting of one of the subpanels causes lateral movement of a cam lever, which then pulls an extended arm portion of a rotating portion of the cam lift mechanism, causing the rotating portion to rotate about a primary axle. The cam slots guide the decorative elements radially outward or radially inward toward the primary axle upon rotation of the cam lift mechanism, causing the decorative elements to pop up or extend outward from the body.

摘要: In accordance with the present invention, a stand-alone pop up assembly and method for making the same is provided comprising a plurality of wall panels connected with an internal base. A roof structure is provided and a roof interface component for attaching the roof to the structure. The assembly is moveable between a first position being substantially flat into a one dimensional structure and a second position enfolded into a three dimensional structure by manipulating the outer structure and the internal base. The roof interface component may swivel into place during the movement to the three dimensional structure, thereby positioning the roof structure over the upper portions of the first and second panel walls or, alternatively, a sliding feature is provided with a tab from the roof inserted into a slot at the top of one of the panel walls, thereby sliding the roof into position.

摘要: A bath book and a puppet combination and method of manufacturing a bath book and a puppet combination, wherein a first intermediate assembly is bonded to a second intermediate assembly to create a third intermediate assembly. A second jersey backing layer is secured to the third intermediate assembly to create a fourth intermediate assembly. The fourth intermediate assembly may be flipped inside-out through a hole opening in the second jersey backing layer. The hole may then be sealed. The second jersey backing layer may be pushed upwards into the further intermediate assembly. An adhesive film may be applied to the terry cloth ring and the non-woven material ring of the second intermediate assembly to create a puppet assembly. The puppet assembly is positioned into a center aperture in a book assembly and bonded therein.

摘要: A book having a plurality of pages bound together to form the book. At least one page of a spread of the book has a flap movable with respect to the page. The flap has a flap recess. The page has a page recess. In a closed position, the flap is positioned within the page recess. A structural element, such as a pop-up element, is housed within the flap recess and/or the page recess. As the flap moves from the closed position to an open position, the structural element moves or raises above the page surface to move the structural element into an activated position. In the closed position, the structural element is hidden from view when looking at the page.

摘要: A fluid transference system, including: (a) at least two inflatable objects; (b) at least one variable-state fluid transfer conduit, interposed between a first and a second inflatable objects, the variable state conduit configured to allow fluid flow there-through in an open state and to disallow the flow in a closed state. A fluid transfer system, including: (a) an entry port; (b) an exit port; (c) a unidirectional main conduit defined between the entry port and the exit port; (d) an intermediate port; and (e) an intermediate conduit defined between the intermediate port and the main conduit, intersecting the main conduit between a first unidirectional valve and a second unidirectional valve, the main conduit defining a unidirectional fluid flow.
