Abstract: Techniques are described for wireless communication. A first method includes measuring, by a first device, a condition of a wireless channel; and generating at least one channel side information feedback message based on the measured condition of the wireless channel. The at least one channel side information feedback message provides information on a relationship of a set of parameters, including a data rate parameter, an error probability parameter, and at least one of a deadline parameter or a transmission link parameter. A second method includes measuring, by a first device, interference on a wireless channel; identifying an interfering device for the wireless channel based on the measurement; and generating a channel side information feedback message based on the measured interference on the wireless channel. The channel side information feedback message indicates the interfering device for the wireless channel and a correlation of interference from the interfering device with time or frequency.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A transmitting device may identify a duration of a slot used for communications with a receiving device. The transmitting device may determine that the communications with the receiving device comprises frequency division duplexing (FDD) communications. The transmitting device may transmit communications to the receiving device during a first portion of the slot, a duration of the first portion being less than the duration of the slot and the duration of the first portion is based at least in part on the determination that the communications comprise FDD communications. The transmitting device may select, based at least in part on the determination that the communications comprise FDD communications and that the communications are transmitted during the first portion of the slot, a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) scheme to use during the communications.

Abstract: A method to mitigate interference in a wireless system is provided. The method includes processing a set of radio network identifiers and limiting a number of hypotheses associated with the radio network identifiers in order to mitigate interference in a wireless network. In another aspect, the method includes processing a set of hypotheses and limiting the set of hypotheses by limiting a number of downlink grants to a common space, limiting the number of downlink grants to a number of instances, or limiting the number of grants to a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) type. In yet another aspect, the method includes processing a downlink set and generating a target termination level for the downlink data set, the termination level associated with a Hybrid automatic repeat-request.

Abstract: Various designs for optimization of carrier aggregation (CA) capability signaling are discussed. A user equipment (UE) configured for CA determines to signal supported CA combinations that include a band, the band being one of a first band and a second band. The first band is a superset of the second band. The UE signals the supported CA combinations that include the band to the network. A base station receives a signal indicating the CA combinations supported by the UE that include the band. The base station determines CA combinations that include the first band and CA combinations that include the second band based on the CA combinations received from the UE.

The wireless communication device may further transmit the encoded data, and the encoded data can be non-orthogonally combined as part of a non-orthogonal transmission. In another example, wireless communication devices can receive a wireless transmission including a plurality of data streams non-orthogonally combined together. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may support dynamic clock switching within a transmission time interval (TTI) to allow for more efficient and flexible processing within the TTI. In particular, a user equipment (UE) may be configured to use multiple clock speeds for processing signals within a TTI, and the UE may determine a clock speed to use for processing data within a TTI based on control information received from a base station. For example, the UE may determine an amount of time available for processing data based on the control information received from the base station, and the UE may adjust its clock speed to finish processing the data in the determined amount of time.
