Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. that support preconfigured uplink resources (PUR) in wireless communications. A base station may communicate that support for PUR is available, and may allocate PUR resources to a user equipment (UE) based on requests from the UE. The UE may receive an indication that the base station supports PUR, such as via a system information block (SIB), determine to request PUR, and transmit a PUR request message to the base station. A PUR response from the base station may indicate a PUR allocation for the UE that may be used for uplink transmissions. Uplink transmissions that use PUR may be acknowledged by the base station based on a QOS associated with the uplink transmissions.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a downlink control information (DCI) message from a base station that schedules multiple transport blocks (TBs) to be transmitted to the UE. Accordingly, the UE may determine a bundling configuration for grouping the multiple TBs into separate groups of TBs such that separate acknowledgment (ACK) feedback messages are transmitted by the UE for each group of TBs to indicate whether each of the TBs in each TB group was correctly received and decoded. In some cases, the UE may determine the bundling configuration based on radio resource control signaling from the base station, DCI signaling from the base station, relationships or equations or tables defined for the UE, or a combination thereof. Additionally, the UE may determine resource locations and timelines for transmitting the separate ACK feedback messages.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of a first common frequency resource (CFR) within a bandwidth part (BWP) and a second CFR within the BWP. Accordingly, the UE may receive, using a first numerology, a non-group-common communication at least partially in the BWP. The UE may also receive, using the first numerology, a group-common communication at least partially in the first CFR, and receive, using a second numerology, a group-common communication at least partially in the second CFR. As an alternative, the UE may receive an indication of a CFR within a BWP. Accordingly, the UE may receive, using a first numerology, a non-group-common communication in the BWP and a first group-common communication in the CFR, and receive, using a second numerology, a second group-common communication in the CFR. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A frame, scheduling instance, scheduling period etc. may include a set of downlink subframes and a set of uplink subframes. At least one control message transmitted in a downlink subframe may schedule a set of data messages in the downlink subframes of the frame. The downlink subframe may also include data messages scheduled by a control message of a previous frame. Further, feedback timings for data messages of the frame may be determined based on the corresponding control messages (e.g., from the current frame and the previous frame). Feedback responses corresponding to the data messages may be transmitted in a bundled manner in the set of uplink subframes. Using this cross-frame scheduling technique, the resources of a frame may be efficiently utilized.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may be configured with a set of parameters to determine a valid timing advance (TA) to transmit data using preconfigured uplink resources (PUR) during an idle or inactive mode. In some cases, the parameters are one or more TA commands and one or more conditions associated with each TA command. The UE may identify the current condition of the UE and determine whether the current condition of the UE matches one of indicated conditions. The UE may select a TA command based on finding a match and use the TA command to transmit an uplink PUR transmission. Additionally or alternatively, the parameters may be neural network parameters that indicate a neural network model that the UE may use to determine a TA command associated with a valid TA based on the current condition of the UE.

Some wireless communications systems may support non-terrestrial network (NTN) signaling between both terrestrial and non-terrestrial devices. A user equipment (UE) supporting such NTN signaling may receive a downlink message indicating a first configuration for a first transmission reception point corresponding to a first cell of the NTN, and a second configuration for a second transmission reception point corresponding to a second cell of the NTN. The UE may then perform one or more synchronization measurements to synchronize uplink communications with the first transmission reception point and the second transmission reception point and in order to perform multi-transmission reception point communications in the NTN. The UE may then transmit one or more uplink messages to the first transmission reception point, to the second transmission reception point, or both, in accordance with the one or more synchronization measurements.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a configuration for a group-common physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH), where the group-common PDSCH is repeated for a number of repetitions. Accordingly, the UE may determine this number of repetitions and then monitor for the group-common PDSCH based on the number of repetitions. In some implementations, the group-common PDSCH may include a semi-static repetition scheme, where the number of repetitions is indicated via a group aggregation factor. Additionally or alternatively, the group-common PDSCH may include a dynamic repetition scheme, where the number of repetitions is indicated via a group repetition number. Additionally, the techniques described herein may enable the configuration for the repeated group-common PDSCH to include gaps between each repetition of the group-common PDSCH and for the UE to transmit acknowledgment feedback for the repetitions of the group-common PDSCH.

Abstract: In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus may be a UE or a component thereof configured to receive, from a base station, SPS configuration information for broadcast and/or multicast indicating a set of resources configured for feedback, with each transmit (TX) beam of a set of TX beams corresponding to a respective subset of the set of resources. The apparatus may be further configured to receive SPS signaling from the base station via one or more TX beams of the set of TX beams over each of a set of SPS occasions. The apparatus may be further configured to transmit feedback to the base station on one or more subsets of the set of resources respectively corresponding to the one or more TX beams based on the SPS signaling, the feedback indicating one of acknowledgement (ACK) or non-acknowledgement (NACK).

The UE may determine a duration of time for which an uplink pre-compensation is to be applied to the one or more uplink wireless communications. The duration of time may be based on one or more parameters of the uplink communications configuration. The UE may output the one or more uplink wireless communications within the duration of time with the uplink pre-compensation applied.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Some wireless communications systems may support coexistence of broadcast communication protocols. In such cases, a first network node, such as a network entity, may broadcast a cell acquisition subframe (CAS) in accordance with a first broadcast communication protocol whose frequency resources overlap with frequency resources allocated in accordance with a second broadcast communication protocol. The CAS may indicate a modification to transmission of one or more subsequent CASs in accordance with the first broadcast communication protocol. For example, the modification may be a muting pattern, an updated periodicity, or both. As such, the first network node may broadcast, in accordance with the first broadcast communication protocol, the one or more subsequent CASs, wherein the one or more subsequent CASs are time division multiplexed with communications associated with the second broadcast communication protocol in accordance with the modification.
