Abstract:
A receiver comprises a plurality of antenna elements for receiving a data signal. Each antenna element has a plurality of Rake fingers. Each Rake finger processes a received multipath component of the received data signal of its antenna element by applying a complex weight gain to that received multipath component. A complex weight gain generator determines the complex weight gain for each Rake finger for each antenna element using an input from all the Rake fingers. A summer combines an output of each Rake finger to produce an estimate of the data signal.
Abstract:
A process for implementing a market neutral relative value strategy to provide up-to-the-minute equity trading recommendations includes selecting pairtrades, each having both high correlation coefficient and high de-trended correlation coefficient. The de-trended coefficient is determined for a time interval selected such that a starting price of one of the stocks of a pairtrade is substantially equal its ending price. The process further includes calculating an optimal financial hedge ratio by determining regression slopes of the stocks in each selected pairtrade with respect to one another. The selected pairs are further compared with a plurality of templates to select only valid pairtrades whose amplitude and number of crosses through and deviations from the regression line match at least one of the templates. Applying a modified LaGrange-Urenbeck process to determine the optimal cut-loss and profit taking boundaries further optimizes each of the valid pairtrades.
Abstract:
A method for estimating signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) using a method with low bias that is effective for both positive SNRs and small to negative SNRs. The method is based on an iterative solution for the maximum likelihood estimate of the amplitude from which the SNR can be computed. The method is applicable for various modulated systems, including BPSK, QPSK and MPSK.

Abstract:
This invention relates to 3-substituted-phenyl-1,2,3-benzotriazin-4-ones which have activity as herbicides, to compositions which contain these compounds and to methods of use of these compounds.
Abstract:
This invention relates to herbicidal N-(heterocyclylcarbonyl)sulfonamide compounds, compositions comprising N-(heterocyclylcarbonyl)sulfonamide herbicides and an agronomically acceptable carrier, and the use thereof as broad spectrum herbicides which are effective against both monocot and dicot weed species in both preemergence and postemergence applications. This invention also teaches methods of preparing these compounds as well as methods of using the compounds as herbicides.
Abstract:
Various systems and methods for implementing intent-based orchestration in heterogenous compute platforms are described herein. An orchestration system is configured to: receive, at the orchestration system, a workload request for a workload, the workload request including an intent-based service level objective (SLO); generate rules for resource allocation based on the workload request; generate a deployment plan using the rules for resource allocation and the intent-based SLO; deploy the workload using the deployment plan; monitor performance of the workload using real-time telemetry; and modify the rules for resource allocation and the deployment plan based on the real-time telemetry.
Abstract:
Various systems and methods for implementing intent-based cluster administration are described herein. An orchestrator system includes: a processor; and memory to store instructions, which when executed by the processor, cause the orchestrator system to: receive, at the orchestrator system, an administrative intent-based service level objective (SLO) for an infrastructure configuration of an infrastructure; map the administrative intent-based SLO to a set of imperative policies; deploy the set of imperative policies to the infrastructure; monitor performance of the infrastructure; detect non-compliance with the set of imperative policies; and modify the administrative intent-based SLO to generate a revised set of imperative policies that cause the performance of the infrastructure to be compliant with the revised set of imperative policies.
Abstract:
A flip-flop circuit is disclosed. The flip-flop circuit includes a single-input inverter, a dual-input inverter, a single-input tri-state inverter, a dual-input tri-state inverter, and two single-event transient (SET) filters. The single-input tri-state inverter receives an input signal D. The dual-input tri-state inverter includes a first input, a second input and an output, wherein the first input receives output signals from the dual-input inverter and the second input receives output signals from the dual-input inverter via the first SET filter. The output of the dual-input tri-state inverter sends output signals to a first input of the dual-input inverter and a second input of the dual-input inverter via the second SET filter. The single-input inverter receives inputs from the dual-input inverter to provide an output signal Q for the flip-flop circuit.
Abstract:
Various systems and methods for route-based digital service management are described herein, comprising receiving a request for service, such as a user request for service from a MaaS or digital service provider, estimating digital service usage with respect to the request, determining a MaaS route using the request and the estimated digital service usage, selecting an orchestration strategy comprising a server type using the estimated digital service usage, and scheduling a MaaS vehicle for the determined MaaS route in response to the request using the selected orchestration strategy and the determined candidate MaaS route.
