    Abstract: This application discloses a multi-link establishment method and a related device. A multi-link association response frame carries radio bitmap information, to indicate an AP allowed to be associated with a radio of a STA MLD or a link allowed to be established by using a radio of a STA MLD, so that the radio subsequently switches between different APs or links. The multi-link association response frame carries link establishment status information, to indicate a link establishment status of each link that the STA MLD requests to establish, so that multi-link establishment is more flexible. The multi-link association response frame carries reassociation information, to indicate whether each parameter in association configuration information is reserved, so that a problem that signaling overheads are relatively large due to a reassociation operation is avoided. It can be learned that, in the multi-link establishment method, the foregoing information is carried to improve multi-link establishment flexibility.

    Abstract: This application discloses communication methods and apparatuses. In an example method, a physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU) is generated and sent. The PPDU includes multiple resource unit allocation subfields. The multiple resource unit allocation subfields include a resource unit allocation subfield corresponding to a multiple resource unit (MRU) to indicate that a 242-tone resource unit (RU) corresponding to the resource unit allocation subfield belongs to the MRU. A number of resource unit allocation subfields corresponding to the MRU in a resource unit allocation subfield corresponding to each 80 MHz subblock in a bandwidth for transmitting the PPDU is for determining or indicating a type of the MRU. A station can determine, based on the number of resource unit allocation subfields corresponding to the MRU in the resource unit allocation subfield corresponding to each 80 MHz subblock, which type of MRU is included in the bandwidth for transmitting the PPDU.

    Abstract: This application is applicable to a group addressed traffic transmission method applicable to a plurality of links and an apparatus.     Abstract: Disclosed are a physical layer (PHY) protocol data unit (PPDU) transmission method and a related apparatus. The method includes: generating a PPDU, where the PPDU includes a universal signal field (U-SIG), and the U-SIG includes a subfield indicating that the PPDU is a null data packet (NDP); and sending the PPDU. In this way, a beamformee (Bfee) that receives the NDP can identify the NDP earlier. This helps improve efficiency of reading the NDP by the Bfee. The PPDU is an NDP used for a standard after 802.11ax. In a scenario in which wireless communication is performed by using the standard (for example, 802.11be) after 802.11ax, the Bfee can perform channel estimation based on the NDP.

    Abstract: This application provides a receive chain enabled state switching method and a first multi-link device. The method includes: A first multi-link device receives, by using a first link, a first frame sent by a second multi-link device to the first multi-link device; and the first multi-link device makes one or more second links be in a multi-receive-chain enabled state, where the second link is a link that is between the first multi-link device and the second multi-link device and that is different from the first link.     Abstract: Embodiments of this application relate to the communication field, and in particular, to a multi-link communication method and an apparatus. A STA in a STA MLD sends an information frame on a link corresponding to the station, and the information frame is used to indicate a STA in an awake state in the STA MLD. An AP MLD receives the information frame, and sends a downlink message frame on a one or more links corresponding to a part of or all of STAs in the awake state in the STA MLD, to assist the part of or all of the stations in fast accessing a channel without waiting for a NAVSyncDelay time period.
