Abstract: Positioning assistance data (PAD) is encoded in positioning System Information Blocks (posSIBs) and periodically broadcast by abase station in a differential manner A PAD element that is different relative to previously broadcast PAD is encoded in a block of posSIB separately from PAD that is unchanged. Another separate block of posSIB includes reference encoding identifying the changed PAD and provides scheduling information. A UE may decode the reference encoding and determine whether the UE has previously decoded the changed PAD. If the UE has previously received the PAD, but has not yet received the new or changed PAD, the UE may receive and decode the block of posSIB with only the changed PAD, thereby increasing efficiency.

Abstract: Aspects presented herein may enable a network entity to configure a group of UEs to simultaneously transmit reference signals and to simultaneously transmit gradient vectors to the network entity, such that the network entity may receive the gradient vectors from the group of UEs as an aggregated gradient vector over the air. In one aspect, a base transmits, to a group of UEs, a configuration that configures the group of UEs to simultaneously transmit one or more group-common reference signals and to simultaneously transmit one or more gradient vectors associated with a federated learning procedure. The network entity receives, from the group of UEs, the one or more group-common reference signals and the one or more gradient vectors based on the configuration via multiple channels. The network entity calculates an average gradient vector based on the one or more group-common reference signals and the one or more gradient vectors.

A UE receives the zone identifier, determines the at least one position estimation performance parameter, selects one or more candidate UEs for the sidelink-assisted position estimation procedure based at least in part upon the at least one position estimation performance parameter, and performs the sidelink-assisted position estimation procedure of the UE with at least the selected one or more candidate UEs.

Abstract: A method of wireless communication performed by a first transmission device incudes receiving a first set of observations from a first receiving device based on transmissions from the first transmission device to the first receiving device at a previous time slot of a fixed contention-based spectrum sharing system. The method also includes measuring an energy level from an ongoing data transmission of the second transmission device at a current time slot. The method further includes generating, at an artificial neural network of the first transmission device, at least one of a transmission determination, a set of transmission parameters, or a combination thereof, based on a second set of observations, the energy level, and a counter. The method also includes transmitting, to the first receiving device, during the current time slot based on at least one of the transmission determination, the set of transmission parameters, or the combination thereof.

Abstract: In an embodiment, a UE transmits an on-demand PRS request for PRS(s) on selected frequency-domain resource(s) (e.g., frequency layer, frequency band, CC, etc.). In another embodiment, a UE receives, from a network component (e.g., BS, core network component, LMF, location server, etc.), configuration of frequency-domain resources (e.g., frequency layer, frequency band, CC, etc.), wherein each frequency-domain resource configuration is associated with a bandwidth and SCS. The UE further receives, from the network component, configuration of PRS(s), wherein each PRS is associated with a single frequency-domain resource from the frequency-domain resources. The UE determines a single reference TRP for each of the frequency-domain resources, performs PRS measurements on the PRS(s), and determines positioning measurements at least based on the PRS measurements and the determined reference TRPs.
