Abstract: Examples of the present disclosure describe systems and methods for detecting and remediating compression artifacts in multimedia items. In example aspects, a machine learning model is trained on a dataset related to compression artifacts and non-compression artifacts. Input data may then be collected by a data collection module and provided to a pattern recognition module. The pattern recognition module may extract visual and audio features of the multimedia item and provide the extracted features to the trained machine learning model. The trained machine learning model may compare the extracted features to the model, and a confidence value may be generated. The confidence value may be compared to a confidence value threshold. If the confidence value is equal to or exceeds the confidence threshold, then the input data may be classified as containing at least one compression artifact. Remedial action may subsequently be applied (e.g., boosting the system with technical resources).

Abstract: Systems, and methods are described for navigating non-dynamic pages at a client device served up from voice search requests by selecting a feature on the image page by a user request for navigating the feature viewed on the image page wherein the feature selected has an appearance of a dynamic feature when served up on the display wherein the user request selects a location on the image page; identifying the feature by the voice cloud server by location data of a selected location on the page; executing a feature request on a corresponding page which contains dynamic script at the voice cloud server to receive a linked page from a third-party search service; and removing dynamic scripts, at the voice cloud search server, of the linked page for serving up as an image page of the linked page at the client device.

Abstract: A facility for transferring configuration information to a target media device is described. The facility receives in the target media device a copy of media device settings stored in a source media device distinct from the target media device in a first form in which they are used in the source media device. This copy of media device settings is received by the target media device via a route other than its visual user interface. The facility causes the received copy of media device settings to be transformed into a second form in which they can be used in the target media device. The facility then stores the media receiver settings in the second form in the target media device for use by the target media device.

Abstract: Various arrangements for updating a device utilizing an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) are presented. A backend system may detect a triggering event associated with a device based upon data received via a first connection. In response to detecting the first triggering event, the UAV may receive a first data set and a location associated with the device from the backend system. The UAV may deploy to the received location. A second connection between the UAV and the device can be established at the received location.
