The control unit may be disposed above the battery. In a rear view of the chain saw in a state where the chain saw is placed on a mount surface, the battery and the control unit may not overlap. In a top view of the chain saw in the state where the chain saw is placed on the mount surface, the battery and the control unit may overlap at least partially.

    Abstract: A reciprocating tool includes a motor, a crank, a connecting rod, a rod, a tool bit, and a counter weight. The tool bit is mounted such that the action portion is positioned on a side opposite to a side with the rod central axis or the extended line of the rod central axis viewing from the rotational center of the crank. The first eccentric shaft and the second eccentric shaft are disposed such that at a position where the first eccentric shaft causes the rod to reach top dead center (TDC), the second eccentric shaft causes the counter weight to reach bottom dead center (BDC) or a point before the BDC, and at a position where the first eccentric shaft causes the rod to reach the BDC, the second eccentric shaft causes the counter weight to reach a point before the TDC.

The battery device may be disposed within the case and include a cell holder configured to accommodate a plurality of battery cells. The intervening member may be provided between the cell holder and at least one of the plurality of cell holder. The temperature detection device may be disposed between the intervening member and at least one of the plurality of cell holder, so that the temperature detection device directly contacts at least one of the battery cells for detecting a temperature thereof. At least one of the cell holder and the intervening member may have an elasticity, so that the temperature detection device may be directly pressed against at least one of the battery cells due to an elastic deformation of the least one of the cell holder and the intervening member.

    Abstract: A robotic dust collector includes a body, a wheel, a wheel motor, and a suspension device. The body accommodates a storage unit to store therein dust and dirt sucked in from a suction inlet. The wheel supports the body. The wheel motor generates motive power to rotate the wheel. The suspension device includes a support member, a motive-force generating mechanism, and an adjustment mechanism. The wheel is supported rotatably about a center axis by the support member. The motive-force generating mechanism gives a motive force to the support member to generate a biasing force to cause the wheel to protrude from a bottom face of the body. The adjustment mechanism adjusts the biasing force based on a protrusion amount of the wheel from the bottom face. The suspension device gives the biasing force adjusted by the adjustment mechanism to the wheel.
