    Abstract: A nozzle cleaning apparatus has one cleaning liquid outlet to which a nozzle is attached, and the other cleaning liquid outlet to which a cleaning attachment is attached. The cleaning attachment includes a nozzle cover, and a cleaning holder attached to the nozzle cover. A cleaning chamber is formed in the nozzle cover. A cleaning liquid inflow chamber, an outer cleaning liquid ejection port, and a cleaning liquid discharge hole are formed in the cleaning holder. A cleaning liquid ejected in a first direction from the nozzle and a cleaning liquid ejected in a second direction from the outer cleaning liquid ejection portion toward the nozzle collide with each other near discharge portions inside the cleaning chamber.

    Abstract: In a vehicle seat, a second parallel link mechanism is actuated in order to adjust an vertical position of a seat body with respect to a vehicle body, such that a first parallel link mechanism is moved up or down together with the seat body with respect to the vehicle body. In order to recline a seatback as an integral unit with a seat cushion, the first parallel link mechanism and the second parallel link mechanism are actuated such that an upper link is maintained in a predetermined orientation. The upper link is restricted from rotating relative to the armrest, and so the armrest is also maintained in a predetermined orientation.

    Abstract: A stabilizer includes a stabilizer main body, and eyes formed on both ends of the stabilizer main body. Through-holes are formed in fastening surfaces of the eyes, respectively. The stabilizer main body is covered with a main body coating film. The eye is covered with an eye coating film whose thickness is less than a thickness of the main body coating film. An inner surface of the through-hole is covered with an inner surface coating film. An incomplete coating portion is formed at a part of the inner surface of the through-hole in a circumferential direction. The incomplete coating portion is located on an extension of a straight line connecting a center of the through-hole and the center of gravity of the stabilizer main body in a side view of the stabilizer main body.

    Abstract: A method of manufacturing a suspension coil spring includes forming first shot peening indentations on a surface of a wire by projecting first shots toward the wire and forming a compressive residual stress portion to which a compressive residual stress is imparted from the surface of the wire to a first depth, and projecting ball shots as second shots toward a lower end turn portion by an ultrasonic apparatus. A size of each ball shot is larger than a size of each first shot. The method includes forming second shot peening indentations on a surface of the lower end turn portion, and a deep residual stress portion in the lower end turn portion, a compressive residual stress of the deep residual stress portion imparted from the surface of the wire to a second depth that is deeper than the first depth.

    Abstract: An accumulator includes a pressure vessel and a partition portion separating an interior space of the pressure vessel into a liquid chamber and a gas chamber so that a volume ratio between the liquid chamber and the gas chamber in the pressure vessel is variable. The pressure vessel includes a first section including a thread portion for fastening the accumulator to a support member and a second section joined to the first section and formed by a single piece including a tool engagement portion capable of engaging with a tool for rotating the accumulator. A first region includes a 90° first part when the center of the inside of the curve is taken to be at 0° and the center of the outside of the curve is taken to be at 180°. A third region includes a 0° third part. A fifth region includes a 270° fifth part. A seventh region includes a 180° seventh part. The radii of curvature of the respective outer surfaces of the third part and the seventh part are larger and the radii of curvature of the respective outer surfaces of the second part and the sixth part are smaller than the radii of curvature of the respective outer surfaces of the fourth part and the fifth part.
