Abstract:
To be able to change settings for selective changing control of a program as a target for sound input/output flexibly. A BGM sound selection managing section obtains priority values set to a plurality of programs, respectively. The BGM sound selection managing section performs control such that a program selected from among the plurality of programs on a basis of the obtained priority values becomes a target for selective sound input/output from/to an outside.
Abstract:
A method for determining the position of a controller device, comprises: receiving dimensions of the display input by a user of the computer-based system; capturing successive images of the display at the controller device; determining a position of the controller device relative to the display based on the dimensions of the display and a perspective distortion of the display in the captured successive images of the display; providing the determined position of the controller to the computer-based system to interface with the interactive program to cause an action by the interactive program.
Abstract:
A recording information acquisition unit 626 acquires recording information of a plurality of recorded contents having programs recorded therein and stored in the information processing apparatus or in any of a plurality of recording apparatus connected to the information processing apparatus through a network. A content classification unit 628 classifies the recorded contents into groups based on the recording information acquired by the recording information acquisition unit 626. A group name determination unit 630 determines, for each of the groups of the recorded contents classified by the content classification unit 628, a title of the group. A list displaying unit 632 displays the group names determined by the group name determination unit 630 in a list on a user interface without distinguishing the apparatus in which the recorded contents are stored.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is an operating device including: a circuit board; a frame arranged on top of the circuit board; a plate-shaped operating member located on top of the frame, the plate-shaped operating member including a surface touched by a user's finger and a touch sensor adapted to detect the position of the user's finger that has touched the surface, the plate-shaped operating member being arranged to be able to move up and down so that the operating member can be pressed by the user; and an elastic member arranged between the frame and operating member to bias the operating member upward.
Abstract:
A receiver receives a stream of program data that includes: an image signal including a plurality of frames; a sound signal; and a playback timing signal used for synchronized playback of the image signal and the sound signal. A clock signal generation unit generates a clock signal that is independent of the playback timing signal. A reception timing signal acquisition unit acquires a reception timing signal indicating a receiving time of the program data. An analysis unit analyzes a trend of time-dependent variation in a detected difference between the reception timing signal and the playback timing signal. An adjustment amount generation unit generates an adjustment amount of the clock signal, which causes the difference between the reception timing signal and the playback timing to be constant, by referring to a trend of time-dependent variation analyzed by the analysis unit.
Abstract:
A conversion unit converts output data detected by an input device based on any one type of conversion table among a plurality of types of conversion tables. An output unit transmits the output data thus converted to a main processor via an interface. A switching unit receives, from the main processor via the interface, a mode switching signal for switching detection sensitivity. The conversion unit switches the conversion table for reference based on the mode switching signal. The conversion table is a bit conversion table for reducing the number of bits of the output data.
Abstract:
A mask region extraction unit extracts a region that is to be masked in a panoramic image. A mask processing unit generates the object image where the region to be masked in the panoramic image is masked. A positioning unit adjusts the direction of a spherical image to the shooting direction of the object image. A mapping processing unit maps the mask-processed object image and the spherical image onto a three-dimensional (3D) object space as textures. A 3D image generator generates a 3D panoramic image, when the 3D panoramic image is viewed in a specified line of sight in such a manner so as to regard the shooting location of the panoramic as a viewpoint position.
