Abstract: A method of wireless communication at a user equipment (UE) includes receiving a first collision report (s), each first collision report indicating at least one first monitored subset of sidelink resources that were monitored by a remote sidelink UE. The method also includes transmitting a second collision report indicating allocation collisions detected by the UE on a second monitored subset(s) of sidelink resources. Each of the second monitored subset(s) of sidelink resources differing from each of the first monitored subset(s) of sidelink resources indicated in the received first collision report(s). The second collision report further comprising an indication of each of the second monitored subset(s) of sidelink resources.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive control signaling indicating a network coding configuration for a set of transmit beams, each transmit beam in the set of transmit beams being spatial division multiplexed with respect to the other transmit beams of the set. The UE may identify based at least in part on the control signaling, a first set of one or more transmit beams of the set of transmit beams carrying parity information for a second set of one or more transmit beams in the set of transmit beams. The UE may perform beamformed communications over the set of transmit beams in accordance with the network coding configuration and the parity information.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a transmitting device may generate a waveform having an original amplitude. The transmitting device may reduce a peak portion of the original amplitude that is above a mirror level according to a reduction function that is based at least in part on a difference function associated with a difference between the mirror level and the peak portion, to obtain a reduced peak amplitude for the waveform. The transmitting device may transmit the waveform with the reduced peak amplitude. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may periodically transmit one or more sidelink synchronization signals (SLSSs), which may enable other UEs to synchronize communications with the UE. A UE may apply a cyclic shift to one or more symbols of an SLSS in the time domain, which may differentiate SLSSs transmitted by different UEs and/or reduce destructive interference between SLSSs. In some examples, a receiving UE may apply one or more cyclic shift hypothesis to incoming SLSSs and perform one or more operations to evaluate an accuracy of each hypothesis. In some examples, a receiving UE may perform an autocorrelation operation to receive SLSSs (e.g., to detect the cyclic shift) or otherwise evaluate the accuracy for various cyclic shift hypothesis. A UE may determine if SLSSs are transmitted by a single UE or multiple UEs, which may improve communication reliability for SLSSs.

Abstract: A device may encode a first set of pictures of the video data to generate first encoded video data; generate first error correction data based on the first encoded video data; transmit the first error correction data and the first encoded video data to a receiving device; receive, from the receiving device, a decimation pattern indication that indicates a decimation pattern determined based on the first set of pictures, the decimation pattern being a pattern of encoded video data non-transmission; encode a second set of pictures of the video data to generate second encoded video data; generate second error correction data based on the second encoded video data; apply the decimation pattern to the second encoded video data to generate decimated video data; and transmit the second error correction data and the decimated video data to the receiving device.

Abstract: A device generates an estimated size of encoded versions of one or more pictures of video data prior to generating the encoded versions of the one or more pictures. A physical layer of a radio system of the device is configured to send a message to a wireless base station. The message indicates a size value based on the estimated size of the encoded versions of the one or more pictures. The physical layer of the radio system receives an uplink grant notification in response to the message. Based on the uplink grant notification, the physical layer of the radio system sends packets to the wireless base station containing the encoded versions of the one or more pictures.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first wireless device may transmit, to a second wireless device, a first indication of a capability to selectively configure activation states for a set of antenna elements of an antenna array of the first wireless device, and of parameter values that indicate a structure of the antenna array. The first wireless device may then receive, from the second wireless device in response to the transmitted first indication, a second indication for the first wireless device to modify an activation state of one or more antenna elements of the set of antenna elements. The first wireless device may subsequently identify the activation state of the one or more antenna elements based on the received second indication, and communicate with the second wireless device using the antenna array according to the identified activation state of the one or more antenna elements.

Abstract: An apparatus for wireless communication includes a receiver and a transmitter that is configured to transmit a signal during a first slot. The signal has a power level that is associated with a transmission that is to occur during the first slot or during a second slot after the first slot. The signal is distinct from the transmission. The first slot and the second slot occur during a sub-frame time interval associated with a first cellular vehicle-to-everything (CV2X) wireless communication protocol, and the first slot and the second slot are associated with a second CV2X wireless communication protocol different than the first CV2X wireless communication protocol. The transmitter is further configured to perform the transmission during the second slot based on the power level.
