Abstract:
A hydraulic door opening mechanism for overhead bi-fold doors is herein disclosed. The door opening mechanism mounts a hydraulic pump, pressure reservoir, valve manifold, and a hydraulic motor or cylinder on a first door panel. The door opening mechanism is pre-assembled with the doorframe prior to mounting the door in the door opening.
Abstract:
A control method of a powered sliding device for a vehicle sliding door, wherein when an operating switch for starting a powered sliding device is pressed to open the door, and if the vehicle speed is about 3 km/h or less and the foot brake or the parking brake is operated, the decelerating state of the vehicle just before is confirmed, and when the decelerating state does not correspond to the quick braking, the powered sliding device is started.
Abstract:
A sliding door guide for motor vehicles, in particular vans and utility vehicles, includes an upper, lower and a central guide mechanism to hold the door in place. The door is flush with the side panel of the vehicle when closed and extends beyond the side of the side panel when open and can essentially be moved parallel to the side panel. The central guide mechanism includes a carriage and sliding rails. The sliding rails are arranged on the inside of the door, in which the carriage is hinge-mounted on a reversing lever and in turn the reversing lever is hinge-mounted on a pillar of the vehicle body. A first anchor is mounted in front of the carriage when seen in the direction of opening, and a second anchor is mounted in the side panel approximately half way along the path of opening. Together with the first anchor, this second anchor automatically activates a mechanical coupling or trap on reaching the corresponding opening positing, forming a further fixing point for the door-guide mechanism at the location of the second anchor.
Abstract:
A window lifter includes a window connecting element, a cable drive motor element offset from the path of travel of the window connecting element, a first and a second cable return which are superposed and arranged at one end of the path of travel of the window connecting element, and a third cable return arranged at another end of the path of travel of the window connecting element. A cable is secured to the window connecting element. The window lifter has, in particular, increased compactness.
Abstract:
A drive unit is arranged in a side of one side surface of a panel constituting a part of a door, and a drum case of a driven unit is fixed to a side of another side surface of the panel. The side of another side surface of the panel is provided with a plurality of engagement portions, which are engaged respectively with a plurality of to be engaged portions provided in the drum case, thereby positioning the drum case.
Abstract:
A device for adjusting a window pane displaced by a double stranded cable window lifter comprises two cable turning devices arranged at the front and rear, relative to the driving direction of the vehicle along the adjusting direction of the window pane, and a cable, driven by the drive unit, which runs between the cable turning devices along the adjusting direction of the window pane in the two crossed bowden cables. Said cables are at least partly arranged in bowden sheaths, the length of which can be adjusted relative and opposed to each other by means of an adjustment device for altering the lengths of the bowden sheaths, which is arranged in the crossing region of the crossing bowden cables. The length of the bowden sheaths on the drive side bowden cable are changed inversely to the length of the bowden sheath on the non-driven bowden cable.
Abstract:
A drive assembly for a closed loop cable system in which a flexible driver member drives a door or the like back and forth has the flexible drive member wrapped around and driven by a drive pulley. The drive assembly includes a motor unit having a motor shaft that rotates about a drive axis for rotating the drive pulley about a pulley axis, and a tensioning mechanism for adjusting the position of the pulley axis with respect to the drive axis responsive to tension in the flexible drive member.
Abstract:
A drive arrangement (10) for a shaft (12), such as a shaft for driving a sectional door, roller shutter or the like, is in the form of a module, carried, in use, by the shaft (12) and including a motor (14), a driven wheel (16) fixed for rotation with the shaft (12) and drivable, in use, by the motor (14), and clutch means (18) and operable between the motor (14) and the wheel (16). The module further includes brace means (20) in the form of a limb attachable to a member which is fixed relative to the axis of the shaft (12), to brace the module against turning as the shaft (12) is driven.
Abstract:
The invention describes a sliding door guide for motor vehicles, in particular vans and utility vehicles, with a carriage (7) and sliding rails (6), in which an upper, lower and a central guide mechanism hold the door (1) in place and in which the door (1) is flush with the side panel (2) of the vehicle when closed and extends beyond the side of the side panel (2) when open and can essentially be moved parallel to the side panel. The sliding rails (6) on the inside of the door are characteristic of the invention as the central guide mechanism, in which the carriage is hinge-mounted on a reversing lever and in turn the reversing lever is hinge-mounted on a pillar (4) of the vehicle body, the first anchor (6, 13) is mounted in front of the carriage (7) when seen in the direction of opening, and a second anchor (11) is mounted in the side panel (2) approximately half way along the path of opening. Together with the first anchor (6, 13), this second anchor (11) automatically activates a mechanical coupling or trap on reaching the corresponding opening position, forming a further fixing point for the door-guide mechanism at the location of the second anchor.
Abstract:
A control method wherein sliding of a sliding door by a powered sliding device is started after sounding an annunciation buzzer when an operating switch is operated, but when a remote control transmitter integrally having an ignition key is operated, the sliding of the sliding door by the powered sliding device is started without operating the annunciation buzzer.
