    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may transmit compressed interference information to a network entity. The UE may measure interference at the UE over a set of interference measurement resources. The UE may determine an interference distribution over the set of resources. The UE may encode the interference distribution using a compressions scheme which may reduce a payload or size of the interference distribution. The compression scheme may include compressing the distribution of the interference. Encoding the interference information may include generating a mean vector and a covariance matrix representative of the distribution of the interference measured over the given set of interference measurement resources. The UE may transmit the encoded interference information, and the network entity may decode the encoded interference information. The network entity may schedule communications with the UE based on the interference information.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) having partially coherent antennas may be configured for simultaneous transmissions on groups of antennas. To achieve the benefits of simultaneous transmissions using groups of antenna that are partially coherent, without having the transmissions affect each other, the UE may apply a hybrid closed-loop multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) scheme among each antenna in the antenna groups where phase coherence can be maintained Following the hybrid closed-loop MIMO scheme, the UE may apply a transparent diversity scheme across each antenna of the groups. Alternatively, the UE may first apply the transparent diversity scheme and next apply the hybrid closed-loop MIMO scheme. By applying a hybrid closed-loop MIMO scheme, and a transparent diversity scheme, the UE may fully realize its resources and contribute to an improved spatial diversity for a MIMO system.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for channel state information feedback based on full channel estimation are described. The method may include receiving a set of beamformed reference signals from a transmit device via a set of receive beams of the receive device, each beamformed reference signal of the set of beamformed reference signals associated with a corresponding transmit beam of a set of transmit beams of the transmit device, determining, based on the set of beamformed reference signals, a channel matrix representative of a communications channel between the receive device and the transmit device, and transmitting, to the transmit device, channel state information based on the channel matrix.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for transmitting a positioning reference signal over a channel within a window including a set of positioning reference signal transmission opportunities. A device may identify the window and perform a channel access procedure to access the channel during the window. Based on performing the channel access procedure, the device may obtain access to the channel and determine that a portion of the positioning reference signal transmission opportunities are remaining within the window. The device may transmit a positioning reference signal during one or more of the remaining positioning reference signal transmission opportunities. In some cases, the device may refrain from transmitting a positioning reference signal during a portion of a positioning reference signal transmission opportunity even if the device gains access to the channel during that portion of the positioning reference signal transmission opportunity.
