Abstract:
A method for tracking eye movement is provided. One embodiment of the method includes receiving a first measurement from a first sensor configured to detect a gaze location, determining an initial gaze location based at least on the first measurement, receiving at least one of eye motion amplitude and eye motion direction measurement from a second sensor, and determining an estimated gaze location based at least on the initial gaze location and the at least one of eye motion amplitude and eye motion direction. Systems perform similar steps, and non-transitory computer readable storage mediums each store one or more computer programs.
Abstract:
The present technology enables a user wearing a head-mounted display having a display section provided in front of the eyes of the user to directly check a state in front of the user. A head-mounted display includes: a display section; a casing supporting the display section in front of eyes of a user; and an optical system supported by the casing, the optical system allowing the user to view an image of an object disposed in a rear of the display section as viewed from the user.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is an information processor that allows for manipulation of raw data to a certain extent with an application program while protecting the content of raw data. The information processor acquires encrypted media data, decodes the encrypted media data to generate raw data, scrambles the raw data to generate scrambled data, descrambles the scrambled data to generate the raw data, and outputs the raw data to a player.
Abstract:
A game providing server which decreases the latency in a cloud gaming service is disclosed. In the game providing server, a graphics processor generates a picture of a game to be distributed to a client through a network. A memory stores picture data generated by the graphics processor. The graphics processor converts the color system of the picture data of a predetermined data amount using it as a trigger that the picture data of the predetermined data amount is stored into the memory. An encoding unit converts the picture data of a predetermined color system into encoded data to be used upon distribution of the picture data to the client through the network. The graphics processor changes the picture data stored in the memory to picture data of a color system which can be encoded by the encoding unit.
Abstract:
An information processing device includes: an information processing section configured to detect a figure of a target object from an image captured from a movie of the target object so as to perform information processing on the detected image; a main data generating section configured to generate data of a main image to be displayed as a result of the information processing; an auxiliary data generating section configured to generate data of an auxiliary image including the captured image; and an output data transmitting section configured to transmit to an output device the main image data and the auxiliary image data in relation to each other such that the main image and the auxiliary image are displayed together.
Abstract:
Provided is an information storage medium having stored thereon a program for causing a computer to execute processing for: acquiring a tentative time interval between a frame for generating an image and a previous frame; acquiring, when a condition associated with action data indicating a posture of an object in accordance with time is satisfied, the posture of the object at a time point at which a time interval shorter than the tentative time interval has elapsed since the previous frame based on the action data; and rendering the image indicating the acquired posture of the object.
Abstract:
An RFID aggregate storage stores a radio-frequency ID aggregate structure. The RFID aggregate structure is an aggregated data structure of a plurality of RFIDs, in which each RFID is associated with a location and time read out from a RFID tag, and RFID related information, hierarchically constructed by classifying RFIDs based on the readout location and further by classifying them based on the readout time. A proximity evaluator evaluates the proximity between the first user's RF ID aggregate and the second user's RFID aggregate. A user classifier classifies the first user and the second user in one group when the proximity is smaller than a predetermined threshold value.
Abstract:
A method for determining positions of fingers of a user is described. The method includes transmitting a power signal from a head mounted display (HMD) to provide power to a plurality of light emitters. The light emitters emit light in a sequence upon receiving the power signal. The method includes using the light emitted by the light emitters to determine a plurality of positions of the light emitters. The positions are used to play a game using the HMD.
Abstract:
An image acquisition unit acquires an image captured by a first imaging device provided in a HMD for presenting an image observed when a three-dimensional image in a virtual three-dimensional space is projected onto a real-world setting, the first imaging device being configured to visualize an area including a field of view of a user wearing the HMD. A marker detection unit detects a marker included in the image captured by the first imaging device and acquired by the image acquisition unit. The image acquisition unit acquires an image captured by a second imaging device having an angle of view that at least partially overlaps an angle of view of the first imaging device. If the marker is not captured in the image captured by the first imaging device, the marker detection unit detects the marker in an image captured by the second imaging device.
