摘要: A learning aid and a method of making and using it are disclosed, and relate to the configuring of chord indicia in an ordered sequence to designate groups of chords for certain given musical keys. The chord indicia and musical key indicia are arranged in a matrix. The matrix is arranged in overlapping columns, and each column is designated with an individual one of the musical key indicia. The columns are arranged such that each group of chords comprises a plurality of columns such that each key indicia comprises a designated column and at least one adjacent other key column.

摘要: A method and system for facilitating a transaction between a merchant and the customer comprising a merchant computer server utilizing a memory containing a database of transaction relevant customer information including customer postal information to provide such information in the form of a customized communication at the point-of-contact between a merchant and the customer is provided. Customer identification information is used to store an anonymous identification tag on the customer computer, the tag providing an address to a segment of the database of transaction relevant customer information. The anonymous tag on the customer computer is accessed by the merchant computer when the customer computer contacts the merchant computer. An embodiment for a syndicate of merchants and a shared system server having a memory of transaction relevant customer information also is provided.

摘要: One embodiment of the present invention relates to a technique for accessing data from a database. The technique may include providing a group of hyper objects each containing a different rule. When a hyper object query language (HOQL) query is received using an HOQL engine, at least one hyper object is selected using the HOQL engine in response to the HOQL query, A data request is sent via the selected hyper object to retrieve data from the database, to be received from the database to be used by the selected hyper object. The requested data is used according to the rule associated with the selected hyper object to provide a desired standardized output.

摘要: Mobile clinicians conduct in-home patient visits utilizing on-site diagnostic and treatment equipment, where service is enhanced by the use of portable computing and communications equipment. Initially, a mobile care entity provides a network of predesignated mobile clinicians, each having the use of a preprogrammed portable computer. Each computer is coupled to a wireless communications device, and includes local storage of patient data. Under a predetermined schedule, each portable computer updates patient data in the local storage utilizing the wireless communications device to download updates from a central storage facility. Whenever the mobile care entity receives requests for medical service at a patient's premises, the entity selects a mobile clinician and dispatches him/her to the patient's premises. The clinician visits the patient's premises accompanied by an assortment of electronic diagnostic and treatment devices, such as a pulse oximiter, x-ray machine, lab analyzer, EKG equipment, etc. To examine the patient, the doctor utilizes various diagnostic devices to prepare machine-readable reports of related aspects of the patient's condition. The clinician directs the portable computer to perform follow-up tasks including: (1) electronically collecting the prepared reports and graphically presenting them in human-readable form, (2) storing a machine-readable medical record including details of the patient's exam, and (3) utilizing the wireless device to transmit the reports and records to the central storage facility.

摘要: An improved protein beverage/drink composition which may provide a relatively high protein content, ranging from about 0.01% by weight to about 15% by weight, while optionally employing a carbonation concentration between about 0.1 volumes of carbonation (per volume of liquid drink solution or liquid drink suspension) to about 6 volumes of carbonation. Preferably the protein is a protein, such preferably as whey protein, or others. The protein beverage may contain juice and/or an additive which provides energy generation enhancement. The protein beverage may be heat treated to inactivate pathogenic microbes in the presence of the carbonation which may be used to provide taste and mouth feel for the drink. Typically, the treatment for pathogenic microbe inactivation is carried out in the individual package used for storage and handling of the protein drink.
