摘要: A PDU for use in an aircraft includes a wheel configured to convey cargo through a portion of the aircraft. The PDU further includes an armature rotatably coupled to the wheel. The PDU further includes a brake pad. The PDU further includes a hold solenoid configured to compress the armature against the brake pad by a brake amount in order to apply a hold braking force to the wheel by resisting rotation of the armature. The PDU further includes a release solenoid configured to apply a force to separate the armature from the brake pad in order to allow the armature to rotate. The PDU further includes a magnet configured to compress the armature against the brake pad by a drag amount that is less than the brake amount in order to apply a drag braking force to the wheel by resisting rotation of the armature.

摘要: Methods and systems for automatically monitoring a parking meter associated with a vehicle. The system includes a transceiver configured to receive location data of a mobile device associated with a user of the vehicle. The system includes an electronic control unit (ECU) of the vehicle configured to receive or determine parking meter data associated with the parking meter. The ECU is configured to determine, based on the parking meter data, whether a time remaining on the parking meter is below a time threshold. The ECU is configured to automatically communicate, to the mobile device, a warning communication indicating the time remaining on the parking meter when the time remaining on the parking meter is below the time threshold and the location data of the mobile device indicates that a location of the mobile device is more than a threshold distance away from a location of the vehicle.

A method may include applying a suction force with at least one tube coupled to the first inflatable balloon to attract the first inflatable balloon to an interior surface of the LAA or to a second inflatable balloon. A method may include puncturing, using a tissue-penetrating tip, a target surface of the LAA.

摘要: In some embodiments, a method may include treating water comprising sulfur based contaminants. The method may include contacting a portion of water comprising a quantity of hydrogen sulfide with a first oxidant. The method may include producing sulfur solids as a result of contacting the hydrogen sulfide in the portion of water with the first oxidant. In some embodiments, the method may include separating the sulfur solids from the water. The first oxidant may include hydrogen peroxide. In some embodiments, oxidation of contaminated fluids may be accelerated by adding an acid in combination with a second oxidant to the contaminated fluids. In some embodiments, oxidation of contaminated fluids may be accelerated by adjusting a pH of the contaminated fluids after addition of an oxidant to the contaminated fluids. In some embodiments, the pH may be adjusted to less than 7.
