    摘要： A network polymer that contains: (a) a plurality of polymer chains which are derived from one or more ethylenically-unsaturated monomer(s), and (b) at least one linking group which links the polymer chains and which contains anhydride, carbonate, or uretidinedione moieties. The network polymer and other network polymers which contain similar dissociating groups are useful in curable formulations which contain a curable compound that contains: (a) a central moiety, and (b) a plurality of reactive groups which are bonded to the central moiety and which react with acid, hydroxyl, or isocyanate moieties liberated by dissociation of the anhydride, carbonate, or uretidinedione moieties. The curable composition builds viscosity more slowly and more controllably during curing than equivalent systems which do not contain the network polymer. It is useful in coatings and other uses for curable compositions.

    摘要： Compositions are prepared by the reaction of (A) an advanced composition resulting from reacting (1) at least one of (a) at least one epoxidized triglyceride of a fatty acid, or (b) at least one epoxidized fatty acid having an average of more than one unsaturated group per molecule or (c) at least one diepoxyalkane, or (d) any combination of any two or more of (a), (b) or (c), or (e) a combination of any one or more of (a), (b) or (c) and (f) a diglycidyl ether of a dihydric phenol; with (2) a dihydric phenol; (B) optionally a monohydric phenol; (C) a phosphorous-containing compound; and (D) optionally a base. These compositions can be cured with curing agents which react with aliphatic hydroxyl groups.

    摘要： Corrosion inhibitor compositions for metals are disclosed which comprise (a) the product resulting from reacting a vinyl substituted pyrazine such as 2-vinylpyrazine with a primary or secondary amine such as dodecanamine in the presence of a catalyst such as acetic acid and (b) a suitable carrier liquid such as isopropanol. These corrosion inhibitors are particularly useful in the protection of downhole oil and gas well production and drilling equipment.

    摘要： Novel compositions are prepared by reacting hydrocarbyl substituted nitrogen-containing aromatic heterocyclic compounds such as 2,5-dimethylpyridine or 2,4,6-collidine, an aldehyde such as formaldehyde, or a ketone such as acetone, or mixtures thereof and an amine having a combined total of at least seven carbon, nitrogen, oxygen or sulfur atoms and at least one reactive amine hydrogen atom such as 1-dodecanamine in the presence of a suitable catalyst such as hydrogen chloride. These novel compositions, as well as their free amine forms are useful as oil and gas well corrosion inhibitors.
