Abstract: A scanner includes a scanning module. The scanning module has a scan channel and a scanning glass. A lower surface of the scanner is defined as a bottom wall of the scan channel. The scanning glass is positioned above the scan channel. A bottom surface of the scanning glass is defined as a top wall of the scan channel. The lower surface of the scanner has an upstream turn connected between an upstream section and a middle section of the lower surface of the scanner, the middle section of the lower surface of the scanner is parallel with the bottom surface of the scanning glass.

Abstract: A feeding roller structure includes a fastening frame, a transmission component, a transmission roller and a floating coupler. The transmission component is assembled in the fastening frame. The transmission component includes a drive shaft transversely pivoted to two sides of the fastening frame. The transmission roller is concentrically arranged around the drive shaft. The floating coupler is mounted to the fastening frame. The floating coupler is coupled between the drive shaft and the transmission roller. Two opposite ends of the floating coupler are adjacent to and spaced from the two sides of the fastening frame to form two gaps. Each gap is formed between one end of the floating coupler and one side of the fastening frame. The two gaps limit an angular displacement of the floating coupler.

Abstract: A pickup mechanism includes a paper feeding channel, a pickup roller assembly disposed in the paper feeding channel and projecting beyond a top of the paper feeding channel, a paper tray disposed to an upstream of the pickup roller assembly, and a guiding swing arm assembly. The guiding swing arm assembly includes two guiding swing arms mounted adjacent to and spaced from two opposite sides of the pickup roller assembly. Each guiding swing arm includes a pivoting shaft, a stopping block, and an extending arm connected between the pivoting shaft and the stopping block. The two stopping blocks of the two guiding swing arms are disposed between the pickup roller assembly and the paper tray for blocking paper. An axial direction of the pivoting shaft of each guiding swing arm is deviated from a center axis direction of the pickup roller assembly.

Before the card is scanned, check whether the background values in the scanning channel conform to the preset values. Drive the card to move a distance Y. Check whether the background values in the scanning channel conform to the preset values. Preset a preset movement distance, check whether a movement distance of the card or a distance of accumulated movements of the card exceeds the preset movement distance. Display that the card is stuck. Stop checking and proceeding an image calibration. Start scanning the card. Complete scanning the card and withdraw the card.
