    Abstract: An auto-adjusting separation mechanism, comprising: a bracket with at least one side arm, a sensor module arranged on the side arm, a rotary shaft arranged at the front end of the bracket; a separation roller set pivotally arranged on the rotary shaft, a sensor wheel arranged to couple with the sensor module, and a torque limiter arranged at the front end of the bracket; wherein, by monitoring the rotation of the sensor wheel with the sensor module, the separating force of the separation roller set is adjustable via a microcontrollers which is capable to adjust the transmission gear set.

    Abstract: A feeding roller structure includes a fastening frame, a transmission component, a transmission roller and a floating coupler. The transmission component is assembled in the fastening frame. The transmission component includes a drive shaft transversely pivoted to two sides of the fastening frame. The transmission roller is concentrically arranged around the drive shaft. The floating coupler is mounted to the fastening frame. The floating coupler is coupled between the drive shaft and the transmission roller. Two opposite ends of the floating coupler are adjacent to and spaced from the two sides of the fastening frame to form two gaps. Each gap is formed between one end of the floating coupler and one side of the fastening frame. The two gaps limit an angular displacement of the floating coupler.

    Abstract: A pickup mechanism includes a paper feeding channel, a pickup roller assembly disposed in the paper feeding channel and projecting beyond a top of the paper feeding channel, a paper tray disposed to an upstream of the pickup roller assembly, and a guiding swing arm assembly. The guiding swing arm assembly includes two guiding swing arms mounted adjacent to and spaced from two opposite sides of the pickup roller assembly. Each guiding swing arm includes a pivoting shaft, a stopping block, and an extending arm connected between the pivoting shaft and the stopping block. The two stopping blocks of the two guiding swing arms are disposed between the pickup roller assembly and the paper tray for blocking paper. An axial direction of the pivoting shaft of each guiding swing arm is deviated from a center axis direction of the pickup roller assembly.

    Abstract: A method of detecting feeding status and width of paper is disclosed in this present invention, steps of the method include: step a, using at least one infrared light transmitter to transmit infrared light signals; step b, using a light-gathering element to gather together the infrared light signals transmitted by the infrared light transmitter; step c, using a light receiver to receive the infrared light signals gathered together by the light-gathering element, when paper is fed forward, the paper will be located between the infrared light transmitter and the light-gathering element, and will cover a part of the light-gathering element so as to cut off a part of the infrared light signals, how many infrared light signals the light receiver received will be changed, a feeding status and a width of the paper is determined according to how many infrared light signals the light receiver received.

    Abstract: An image scanning device includes an upper shell, a feeding shaft pivotally connected to the upper shell, a feeding roller mounted around the feeding shaft, a sensing roller, a motor, a lower shell pivotally covered to the upper shell, a plurality of springs and a contact image sensor. The sensing roller is mounted around the feeding shaft. The motor is connected with the feeding shaft. The motor drives the feeding shaft to rotate in different speeds. The plurality of the springs are mounted to the lower shell. The contact image sensor is mounted to the plurality of the springs. A top surface of the contact image sensor is capable of abutting against lower portions of outer surfaces of the feeding roller and the sensing roller by virtue of the plurality of the springs elastically abutting against a bottom surface of the contact image sensor.

    Abstract: An image scanning method applied in an image scanning device capable of scanning a card. Before the card is scanned, check whether the background values in the scanning channel conform to the preset values. Drive the card to move a distance Y. Check whether the background values in the scanning channel conform to the preset values. Preset a preset movement distance, check whether a movement distance of the card or a distance of accumulated movements of the card exceeds the preset movement distance. Display that the card is stuck. Stop checking and proceeding an image calibration. Start scanning the card. Complete scanning the card and withdraw the card.
