Abstract:
An air conditioning system can automatically increase or decrease a desired temperature of an indoor unit at a variable gradient smaller than the variable gradient per predetermined time of an outdoor temperature. Hence, the user does not have to directly change the desired temperature, thus increasing user's convenience. Also, in the event of a significant diurnal range in temperature, air conditioning sickness can be prevented since an optimum indoor temperature can be maintained. Moreover, the variable gradient of the desired temperature of a room is smaller than the variable gradient of an outdoor temperature, thus keeping the room pleasant.

The nanoporous catalyst having a high specific area and high crystallinity includes a plurality of nanopores having an average diameter of about 1 nm to about 3 nm. A micro-framework of the nanoporous photocatalyst has a single crystalline phase of anatase or a bicrystalline phase of anatase and brookite, and a specific surface area of the nanoporous photocatalyst is in a range of about 350 m2/g to 650 m2/g.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a peptide represented by formula (I) of X1-Leu-X2-Leu-X3 wherein X1 represents Glu or Asp, X2 represents His, Lys or Arg, X3 represents Asp or Glu, with Glu, Asp, Leu, His, Lys and Arg being respectively glutamic acid, aspartic acid, leucine, histidine, lysine and arginine; or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof; a composition for the treatment or prevention of at least one selected from cartilage damage and arthritis, containing the same peptide or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient; and a composition containing the same peptide or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and TGFβ1. The above-mentioned peptide or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof is effective for the treatment and/or prevention of cartilage damage and/or arthritis and is capable of exhibiting effects of the regeneration of cartilage tissue, the inhibition of the expression of cartilage tissue matrix degrading enzyme and/or the inhibition of cartilage tissue ossification.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method of preparing high crystalline nanoporous titanium dioxide photocatalyst, capable of preparing the high crystalline nanoporous titanium dioxide photocatalyst in mass production through a simply synthesis method using an ultrasonification. The method includes the steps of (a) mixing a titanium precursor and a surfactant in a first solvent and performing a sol-gel reaction; (b) maturing a reactant obtained through the sol-gel reaction for 15 hours to 25 hours; (c) filtering the matured reactant and washing the matured reactant; (d) primarily drying the washed reactant at a temperature of 20° C. to 50° C. to obtain titanium sediments; (e) mixing the titanium sediments in a second solvent and performing an ultrasonification with respect to the mixed solution for 10 minutes to 120 minutes; and (f) secondarily drying the mixed solution, which has been subject to the ultrasonification, at a temperature of 15° C. to 45° C. to obtain titanium dioxide photocatalytic particles.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a portable folding type hairstyling tool. The hairstyling tool includes a casing unit which also serves as a handle, and a hairstyling unit which is inserted into or unfolded from the casing unit to be used by pivoting. The hairstyling unit includes an electric heating part for applying heat to the hair, and the casing unit includes a power source. The hairstyling unit has a rotary switch around a hinge part, thus allowing power to be supplied to the electric heating part by a power source only when the hairstyling unit is unfolded from the casing unit.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a hair iron having upper and lower casings, a heat generating unit and a hinge connection unit. The hinge connection unit includes a hinge box secured to either of the upper and lower casings. First and second movable members each having a hinge shaft are provided in the hinge box, and move between a hinge coupling position and a hinge releasing position. An elastic member is elastically provided between the first and second movable members, and exerts an elastic force so that the hinge shaft moves to the hinge releasing position. A hinge-coupling retaining means is manipulated on an outside of the hinge box to move the hinge shaft to the hinge coupling position and simultaneously retain the hinge shaft in the hinge coupling position. A hinge-shaft connection lug is provided on a remaining one of the upper and lower casings, and has a hinge hole.
