Abstract:
A node structure of a multiway search tree can accelerates a search speed by making a key, a key pointer and a node pointer coincident with the size of a cache line through the use of only one pointer written on a node regardless of the number of keys used in the node and, thereafter, reduce the main memory capacity, a search method using the node structure and a computer readable recording medium in which a program implementing the search method is recorded. The method for generating nodes of a multiway search tree includes the steps of: a) assigning at least one key to each of the nodes; and b) assigning pointer information so that related information written on the node is accommodated in a cache line regardless a number of keys.
Abstract:
Provided is an apparatus for implementing an electro-optical cable distribution network in which a coaxial cable is replaced with an optical cable in order to provide a service integrating broadcast data and communication data by solving a frequency constraint problem in a cable television (CATV) network employing a conventional hybrid-fiber coaxial (HFC) network architecture. The apparatus includes an optical network unit (ONU) which converts a downstream signal received from a system operator (SO) into an optical signal and transmits the optical signal to an optical cable; and an optical cable modem which receives the optical downstream signal from the ONU and converts the received signal into an electrical signal. In addition, the ONU and the optical cable modem control signal quality of an optical path.

Method for manufacturing polycrystalline silicon having high resistance, having a first step for depositing a polycrystalline silicon layer for a resistor area over a silicon semiconductor substrate; a second step for growing a first thermal oxide layer having a first specified depth over the polycrystalline silicon layer, ion-implanting with the nitrogen thereon, and growing a second thermal oxide layer having a second specified depth on the ion-implanted layer; a third step for forming a resistor pattern of the polycrystalline silicon with a photo etching method; and a fourth step for ion-implanting impurities in order to decrease the resistance of the polycrystalline silicon as contact regions to be used in resistance contacts with a fixed semiconductor region on the substrate.
Abstract:
To track the location of a terminal in an indoor space by using a pseudo GPS signal transmitter, a GPS signal sent from an artificial satellite is received, and a clock signal of the artificial satellite is extracted from the received GPS signal to perform synchronization with the artificial satellite. Once synchronization with the artificial satellite is performed, a pseudo GPS signal is generated, and the transmission time of the pseudo GPS signal is controlled. The GPS signal is sent to the terminal located in the indoor space by a plurality of transmitting antennas based on the controlled transmission time, thereby enabling the terminal located in the indoor space to track its location.
Abstract:
An apparatus and method of generating a pseudo noise (PN) code is provided. The apparatus for generating the PN code includes: a memory device unit including a plurality of memory devices; an exclusive-OR (XOR) operation unit receiving output values of at least two memory devices among output values of the plurality of memory devices to output an XOR operation value with respect to the received output values; and a PN code generation unit generating the PN code based on an output value of the XOR operation unit.
