Abstract:
The present invention relates to a transmitter in a frequency division multiple access communication system. The transmitter generates a plurality of pilot symbols, and groups the plurality of pilot symbols into a plurality of groups according to a location of a subcarrier. In addition, the transmitter inverse fast Fourier transforms the pilot symbol in each group, and sequentially outputs a first pilot symbol sequence corresponding to each group. The transmitter generates a plurality of pilot blocks respectively corresponding to the plurality of groups, and converts the first pilot symbol sequence of each group into a second pilot symbol sequence of a corresponding pilot block among the plurality of pilot blocks.
Abstract:
An organic light emitting display and a driving method for the same for preventing picture playback disruption during the playback of a moving picture. An organic light emitting display includes: a display region including a plurality of pixels for displaying an image; a frame memory for storing image signals of the image; a data driver for receiving the image signals to generate data signals; a scan driver for generating scan signals; and a controller for controlling the frame memory to store the image signals and to transfer the image signals stored in the frame memory to the data driver. The controller controls the frame memory to store the image signals for at least two horizontal synchronization periods before they are transferred to the data driver.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a mobile terminal and an antenna thereof of which the radiation pattern is not distorted regardless of the length of the mobile terminal. The mobile terminal includes a terminal body; an antenna connected to a high frequency signal source within the terminal body; and a grounding means connected to a ground voltage source within the terminal body.
Abstract:
A slurry composition includes about 4.25 to about 18.5 weight percent of an abrasive, about 80 to about 95 weight percent of deionized water, and about 0.05 to about 1.5 weight percent of an additive. The slurry composition may further include a surfactant. In a polishing method using the slurry composition, a polysilicon layer may be rapidly polished, and also dishing and erosion of the polysilicon layer may be suppressed.

Abstract:
A three-dimensional display device includes an image display portion for time-sharing a left eye image and a right eye image, and a parallax barrier for separating the left and right eye images provided from the image display portion into a direction of a left eye and a right eye of a user, respectively, by using a first and a second electrode set.A method includes applying a first driving voltage to the first electrode set during a first period, and applying a second driving voltage to the second electrode set during a second period. The second driving voltage has a level different from that of the first driving voltage.
Abstract:
A photosensitive drum protecting device for use in a color electrophotographic printer is provided. The printer, in which developing device cartridges of various colors including photosensitive drums and developing rollers are installed, and a printing path contacting the photosensitive drums is formed, includes a photosensitive drum protecting device that simultaneously exposes or protects each of the photosensitive drums. All of the photosensitive drums disposed at front end portions of the developing device cartridges are covered by just one photosensitive drum protecting device. Thus, the complexity of the printer is reduced and the printer can be made more compact.
Abstract:
Provided is a duplex printer and method of duplex printing. The duplex printer and method of printing includes a paper feeding belt that is vertically installed to form a first vertical surface; a photosensitive drum that is installed to contact the first vertical surface; and a transfer roller that is installed to contact an other surface of the first vertical surface contacting the photosensitive drum to transfer a toner image from the photosensitive drum onto a sheet of paper, which is supplied between the photosensitive drum and the paper feeding belt. A back surface feeding path of the paper is formed at an opposite side of the photosensitive drum in the paper feeding belt, and the paper is conveyed closely adhered to a surface of the paper feeding belt in the back surface feeding path of the paper. Accordingly, since the paper feeding belt is used as the back surface feeding path of the paper, the number of additional devices such as guide plates and convey rollers can be reduced, and a compact color printer can be fabricated.
Abstract:
A facsimile includes a white level controller having a support and a guide member which is coupled to the support to be movable up and down, the bottom of which is in contact with the glass plate of a reading device by its own weight, and in the lower portion of which a white reflection surface is formed, thereby simplifying the structure and facilitating the source-document conveyance.
