Abstract:
A switching regulator with frequency limitation comprises a switch, a current sensing circuit, a voltage feedback circuit, a control circuit and a frequency limitation circuit. The current sensing circuit senses the current flowing through the switch and generating a current sensing signal representative of it. The voltage feedback circuit senses the output signal of the switching regulator and generates a feedback signal accordingly. The control circuit compares the current sensing signal with the feedback signal and turns off the switch based on the comparison result. The frequency limitation circuit is electrically coupled to the control circuit to limit the switching frequency of the switch.
Abstract:
The HBP Free-POSS compounds of Formula I are superior to prior HB polymers and linear polymers in space and electronic applications because they have better resistance to electrons, protons and atomic oxygen, have superior out-gassing performance, and are transparent. They are used as coatings, films, adhesives, sealants and elastomers.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a polymer delivery system for the in vivo binding and release of growth factors, preferably orthobiologic GF, comprising a hyperbranched polymer having physiologically-acceptable anionic phosphorous groups. The hyperbranched polymer is preferred to be a polyurea with phosphonate anions. This polymer can be cross-linked to form a network and provide a coating for implanted devices.

The embodiments of the present invention disclose a ballast and associated control circuit wherein the control circuit comprises a multi function pin, a preheat cut-off circuit and an over-voltage protection circuit, wherein the multi function pin is coupled to the preheat cut-off circuit and a first switch configured to turn on the first switch at a preheat state of the ballast and to turn off the first switch at the end of the preheat state, and wherein the multi function pin is further coupled to the over-voltage protection circuit and a voltage sense circuit configured to receive a sensed output voltage signal and to stop the ballast after the preheat state when the sensed output voltage is larger than a first threshold. Compared with prior art, the present invention may reduce the volume and lower down the cost of circuit.

The devices are arranged on the platform on the sea surface. The platform comprises a support partially submerged under the sea surface, a table arranged on the support, and a mounting bracket arranged on the table and used for placing the solar energy collecting devices and the wind energy generating devices.
Abstract:
A frequency limitation method used in quasi-resonant control of a switching regulator is disclosed. The switching frequency is limited through setting a minimum time limit, such as a minimum switching period or a minimum OFF time. The minimum time limit may be a first time limit or a second time limit. The minimum time limit is changed into another value if the minimum voltage point approaches the minimum time limit point, so as to eliminate the audible noise.
Abstract:
A shredder is disclosed having a jam proof system. In one embodiment, the jam proof system provides a thickness detector having a contact member which displaces as an article is inserted into a throat of the shredder and a resistance generating mechanism configured to provide a resistance force to the contact member, in response to displacement of the contact member. The greater the thickness of the material the greater the resistance force that will be realized. When the material reaches a predetermined thickness, there will be a significant change in the resistance force. The resistance generating mechanism may include at least two spring mechanisms serially arranged, such as, a first spring mechanism and a second spring mechanism. This feature provides immediate and direct feedback to the user that the article inserted into the shredder may be too thick. In addition, the thickness detector may include a sensor, and in particular, a Hall effect sensor assembly configured to measure the thickness of the article inserted into the throat. The sensor may communicate with a controller that is configured to alert the user, and/or alter the operation of the shredder, in response to the thickness of the material. For example, the controller may visually and/or audibly alert the user, or control the shredder motor response.
Abstract:
An aircraft heating system wherein the heater includes a haven (34) constructed from dielectric layers (40-50), conductive lanes (60), bus bars (70), and strips (80-150). Façade sections (41, 51, 61) of the dielectric layers (40-50) and the lanes (60) form the primary heating surface (31). The strips (80-150), along with sections (42, 52, 62) of the layers/lanes, form havens (34) for harbor sections (72) of the bus bars (70).

Abstract:
A scheduler and scheduling method that may select a data transmission time interval and a data transmitting station are included in a multi-user Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) communication system. An access point may include a receiver to receive channel measurement signals from stations using a plurality of receive antennas; a channel estimation unit to generate channel state matrices with respect to wireless channels formed from the stations to the receive antennas using the channel measurement signals; and a scheduler to select at least one transmitting station from the stations by considering the channel state matrices and a number of the receive antennas. The receiver may receive a data stream from the selected transmitting stations. Stations receive identifiers corresponding to transmitting stations and/or transmitting antennas to identify stations or antennas for transmitting data streams to the access point.
