摘要： A storage slot for removably holding and aligning data storage cartridges of differing dimensions. Two bowed leaf springs are positioned within the storage slot, at two side walls and opposite from, respectively, two opposite side walls. The bowed leaf springs extend in a direction parallel to a direction of insertion and withdrawal of a data storage cartridge, and are fixed at the end closest to the opening. A bowed portion of each bowed leaf spring forms a ramp surface towards the opening and towards a corresponding opposite side wall. The bowed leaf springs are located a distance from the corresponding opposite side wall to form an interference fit with the smallest dimensioned data storage. The bowed leaf springs thus provide compression toward a data storage cartridge, to hold and align the data storage cartridge against the opposite side wall.

摘要： Disclosed is a diagnostic testing device that may be used to detect one or more analytes in a sample. The device comprises a receptacle and a holder for a test strip. The test strip may be, for example, a lateral flow test strip. The device and holder permit analysis of a sample, wherein the device is substantially sealed during testing and detection of results. To use, the holder containing a test strip is inserted into the receptacle containing sample to be analyzed. Capillary flow along the test strip is initiated by contact of the sample with the distal end of the test strip. The receptacle is such that results of the assay may be detected visually or using standard instrumentation such as by measuring light absorption or reflectance.

摘要： An apparatus and process for naturally recycling poultry carcasses for use as a nutritional supplement, the apparatus generally consists of four modules: an enzymatic digest medium mixing assembly that self adjusts for pH; a mobile grinding assembly mounted on a truck trailer; a digesting and emulsifying assembly which includes a heated tank and separator; and a drying system. Carcasses are loaded into the grinder, and the ground carcasses are pumped into a storage tank with the enzymatic digest medium to produce a protein soluble mixture. The particle size of this mixture is then further reduced, and transported to a centralized and stationary processing plant for digesting and emulsifying. The remaining emulsified proteins are then dried. The resulting pellet-like pieces are uniformly sized for packaging.

摘要： A method, system and apparatus for facilitating transcription and captioning of multi-media content are presented. The method, system, and apparatus include automatic multi-media analysis operations that produce information which is presented to an operator as suggestions for spoken words, spoken word timing, caption segmentation, caption playback timing, caption mark-up such as non-spoken cues or speaker identification, caption formatting, and caption placement. Spoken word suggestions are primarily created through an automatic speech recognition operation, but may be enhanced by leveraging other elements of the multi-media content, such as correlated text and imagery by using text extracted with an optical character recognition operation. Also included is an operator interface that allows the operator to efficiently correct any of the aforementioned suggestions. In the case of word suggestions, in addition to best hypothesis word choices being presented to the operator, alternate word choices are presented for quick selection via the operator interface. Ongoing operator corrections can be leveraged to improve the remaining suggestions. Additionally, an automatic multi-media playback control capability further assists the operator during the correction process.

A first secured session is established between the client and a server which has a certificate including a digital signature from a well known certificate authority. For example, a hypertext transport protocol over SSL (HTTPS) session may be established to the server by a browser such as Netscape™ or Internet Explorer™. An additional public key, or public key ring is then downloaded from the server to the client which may be subsequently used by the client to establish SSL sessions with servers that do not have a certificate from a well known certificate authority.
