The disclosed subject matter relate to a di-tert-butylphenyl alkylsulfonate compound, tert-butylphenyl alkylsulfonate compound, di-tert-butylphenyl arylsulfonate compound or tert-butylphenyl arylsulfonate compound useful as an intermediate raw material of a pharmaceutical, agricultural chemical, electronic material or polymer material and the like, or as a battery material, and also provides a nonaqueous electrolytic solution for a lithium secondary battery having superior cycle performance and other battery properties through the use thereof, and a lithium secondary battery. The disclosed embodiments further relate to a nonaqueous electrolytic solution for use as in a lithium secondary battery containing, in a nonaqueous electrolytic solution in which an electrolyte salt is dissolved in a nonaqueous solvent, 0.01 to 10% by weight of a di-tert-butylphenyl alkylsulfonate compound, tert-butylphenyl alkylsulfonate compound, di-tert-butylphenyl arylsulfonate compound or tert-butylphenyl arylsulfonate compound, and to a lithium secondary battery and a compound.

A toner is provided which has toner particles and a fine silica powder mixed by external addition to the toner particles. The toner has a weight average particle diameter of 4.0 to 9.0 μm. The fine silica powder is subjected to hydrophobic treatment with dimethylsilicone oil, and has, in particle size distribution based on volume, a peak at which cumulative frequency is largest, in the measurement range of 0.02 μm to 1,000.00 μm; the cumulative frequency of 0.10 μm to less than 1.00 μm being 7.0% or less, and, the fine silica powder fulfills the following conditions: 1) A+B≧93.0; 2) 0.45≦A/B≦6.00; and 3) the value of [(carbon content of the treated fine silica powder)/(BET specific surface area of fine silica powder before hydrophobic treatment)] is 0.030 or more to 0.055 or less.

A non-aqueous electrolytic solution containing a ketone compound having the formula (I): in which each of R1 and R2 is linear or branched alkyl; and each of R3, R4, R5 and R6 is hydrogen or linear or branched alkyl; however, R1 and R4 can be combined to form a cycloalkanone ring in conjunction with a propanone skeleton to which R1 and R4 are connected, and two or more of alkyl of R2, alkyl of R5, a branched chain of alkyl of R1, and a branched chain of alkyl of R4 can be combined to form a cycloalkane ring, or alkyl of R1 and alkyl of R2 and/or alkyl of R4 and alkyl of R5 can be combined to each other to form a cycloalkane ring, is favorably employed for manufacturing a lithium secondary battery that is excellent in the battery performances and cycle performance.
