摘要： A vibration-proof clamp includes a clamp body made of rigid resin and having a pipe clamp portion for holding pipes and a stud mounting portion for mounting to a stud; a cover for covering the pipe clamp portions of the clamp body; the cover connected to the clamp body; a first rubber member made of rubber or soft resin for mounting to the clamp body; and a second rubber member for mounting to the cover; the second rubber member having the shape and size which are the same as those of the first rubber member. Holding end portions of the first and second rubber members have semicircular shapes in cross section. The clamp body has rubber bottom holding portions for holding the holding end portions of the first rubber member. The cover has rubber top holding portions for holding the holding end portions of the second rubber member.

摘要： A retaining wing can be hingedly coupled to an outer surface of each of two legs along a hinge line. The retaining wing can include a leading edge facing toward, and a trailing edge facing away from, the distal end of the legs, and together with the hinge line can define a substantially triangular shape. When a screw is not present in the screw passage, engagement of the trailing edge against one of the automobile components can operate to direct a servicing removal force applied through the base inwardly on the wings causing the wings to flex inwardly and permit removal of the screw grommet from the aperture without damaging any of the components or requiring a separate inwardly directed force to be directly applied to the wings. An associated method is also provided.

摘要： An insertion tool is used to insert a threaded coil insert into a threaded opening of a support structure. The tool includes a rotatable mandrel body having an axial longitudinal passage and a projection slot. A plunger is disposed in the passage forward of a spring which urges the plunger forward. The plunger in turn urges a drive projection. A front end of the plunger includes an inclined surface that slidingly and inclinedly engages an inclined surface of the drive projection. The urging of the drive projection by the plunger along their respective inclined surfaces causes relative sliding movement of the drive projection so that the drive projection translates linearly through the projection slot in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal passage.

摘要： A clip is provided with a pin and a main body having an opening for inserting the pin. The pin has a flange and a shaft extending down from the flange. The outer circumference of the flange curves downward. The main body has a bottom, a pair of latching claws downward from the bottom through the opening, support legs extending downward from the bottom between the latching claws, an annular loop element on the top side of the bottom, a sloping element of gradually lowering height from the outside annular element and annular thin-walled flange from the underside of the bottom. In the primary joined state, the latching claws pushing on the pin shaft spread apart, and the claw tips engage the pin latching convex element of the pin shaft. The attached member is held between the base elements of the latching claws and contact element on the under side of the bottom of the main body. The edge of the outer circumference of the pin flange is in contact with the inclined element of the main body, improving watertightness.
