    Abstract: The invention provides a display device and a display panel. The display device includes the display panel and a reading circuit. The display panel includes an upper substrate, a lower substrate, a thin-film transistor (TFT) layer, and a photosensitive circuit. The TFT layer is disposed between the upper substrate and the lower substrate. A plurality of TFTs of a pixel array of the display panel are disposed in the TFT layer. The photosensitive circuit is disposed in the TFT layer to sense an ambient light. The reading circuit is coupled to the photosensitive circuit to read a sensing result.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a readout integrated circuit and an operation method thereof. The readout integrated circuit includes a readout circuit, a line buffer and a communication interface circuit. The readout circuit reads out a plurality of row sensing results of a plurality of sensor rows of a sensor. The line buffer is coupled to the readout circuit for temporarily storing a current row sensing result of a current sensor row of the sensor. The communication interface circuit is coupled to the line buffer. After the current row sensing result of the current sensor row is temporarily stored into the line buffer, the communication interface circuit outputs the current row sensing result in real time to a host circuit.

    Abstract: An electronic device includes an application processor and a display control circuit. The display control circuit may output a (tearing effect) TE signal to the application processor and receive an image frame from the application processor. A data processing circuit of the display control circuit generates a notification signal when the data processing circuit is ready to receive the image frame from the application processor. The timing controller generates the TE signal having a first frequency during a period from a first time point when the notification signal is received to a second time point when the application processor starts transmitting the image frame to the data processing circuit. The first frequency is greater than a reference frequency based on an output frame rate of the display control circuit.

    Abstract: An organic light emitting diode (OLED) display control circuit and a control method thereof are provided. The OLED control circuit includes a counting unit, a judgment unit, a remainder calculation unit and a signal compensation unit. The counting unit counts display lines of a current frame according to a vertical synchronization signal to generate a first count value. The judgment unit compares the first count value and a second count value to generate a judgment result. The second count value represents the number of display lines of a previous frame preceding to the current frame. The remainder calculation unit calculates a remainder generated by dividing the first count value by a period of an emission control signal. The signal compensation unit adjusts the emission control signal to compensate for an incomplete period of the emission control signal occurring in the end of the current frame period.
