Abstract:
Provided is a method for allocating a resource for hybrid ARQ information, which is transmitted to a downlink, in a wireless communication system. The method for a transmission point transmitting the hybrid automatic repeat request (ARQ), includes: transmitting to a terminal an index of a group to which each of the terminals belong, along with information on a physical resource block to which an uplink data channel is allocated, and downlink control information for delivering circulation delay information of a reference signal, which is for demodulating an uplink; and transmitting the hybrid ARQ information, which includes whether the uplink data channel that has been transmitted is received, through a resource which is determined on the basis of the information on the physical resource block to which the uplink data channel is allocated, the circulation delay information of the reference signal, and the index of the group.
Abstract:
Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for forming an event picture in a mobile communication terminal. If an event such as call reception, alarm or message reception occurs while a service picture is displayed on a screen of the terminal, the current service picture is backed up, a command input through the buttons provided to the terminal is interrupted and the event picture is overlapped over the current service picture, thereby allowing a user to perceive the corresponding event. Accordingly, the terminal user can correctly perceive the event occurred during the service. In addition, when the event occurs, the command input through the buttons is interrupted, so that it is possible to prevent an unintended event processing or erroneous operation due to an erroneous button manipulation.
Abstract:
Provided is an apparatus and method for protecting privacy in a terminal that may verify or determine whether a lock screen unlock input corresponds to an unlock input to enter a secret mode or an unlock input to enter a standard mode in response to sensing the lock screen unlock input, set a secret database (DB) to be inaccessible in response to a verification or determination that the lock screen unlock input corresponds to an unlock input to enter the standard mode, and set the secret DB to be accessible in response to a verification or determination that the lock screen unlock input corresponds to an unlock input to enter the secret mode.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to an apparatus and a method for transmitting muting information in a wireless communication system, and to an apparatus and a method for acquiring channel state using same. In an exemplary embodiment, muting information includes: a first data field, having a serving cell for receiving from peripheral cells in a multi-cell environment, at least one of a CSI-RS pattern, the number of CSI-RS antenna ports, a CSI-RS duty cycle, and CSI-RS transmission subframe offset information, and using same for expressing the cycle and the offset of muting subframes, which pertain to information on a resource block that can generate interference between the peripheral cells and CSI-RS; and a second data field for expressing a specific muting pattern, which must be muted within the muting subframes, having either 12 bits or 28 bits that display muting application in a bitmap format.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for mapping a hybrid ARQ indicator channel, which is transmitted to a downlink in a wireless communication system, to a frequency and a time resource.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a system that includes a transmission/reception point and a user equipment having different configurations in inter-band and performs a TDD (Time Division Duplex) method.
Abstract:
This specification relates to an apparatus and method for performing random access in a wireless communication system. This specification discloses a mobile station, including a reception unit for receiving TAG configuration information on which at least one serving cell configured in the mobile station is classified as a Timing Alignment Group (TAG) from a base station and a transmission unit for transmitting a random access preamble to the base station on one representative serving cell within the TAG. In accordance with this specification, a procedure of obtaining a TAV for a serving cell in order to secure and maintain uplink timing synchronization becomes clear, the time taken to obtain uplink synchronization for a serving cell may be reduced, and overhead due to excessive random access attempts may be reduced by obtaining a TAV for a plurality of serving cells through one random access procedure.
Abstract:
Method and apparatus for controlling in-device coexistence (IDC) interference in a wireless communication system are described in the present invention. The present invention includes transmitting UE capability information whether the UE has a capability to measure IDC, to a base station (BS); receiving measurement configuration information whether the UE is allowed to send IDC indication, from the BS; and transmitting the IDC indication and at least one of measurements which are a measurement in consideration of IDC and a measurement without consideration of IDC to the BS. It is possible to control reducing occurrence of in-device coexistence interference.
Abstract:
A method for upgrading firmware of a mobile terminal includes dividing a first firmware into a plurality of first firmware sections, storing a copy of at least one of the first firmware sections in the mobile terminal, loading a second firmware divided into a plurality of second firmware sections, determining whether at least one of the second firmware sections has incurred an error, loading the stored copy of the first firmware section corresponding to the second firmware section if the second firmware section is determined to have incurred an error, and executing the first firmware section or the second firmware section for executing at least one of a kernel and an operating system of the mobile terminal. The method further includes replacing at least one of the second firmware sections having an error with a corresponding replacement second firmware section if an error is determined to have occurred.
