    摘要: An anode active material including a metal core and a coating layer formed on a surface of the metal core is provided. The coating layer includes a conductive metal material. The coating layer covering the metal core is carbon-based and includes a conductive metal material. The anode active material has good electron conductivity and elasticity, thereby enhancing charge/discharge capacity and reducing the stress caused by expansion of the carbon-based coating layer and the metal core during charge/discharge cycles. Direct contact between the metal core and the electrolyte solution is remarkably reduced. In addition, anodes and lithium batteries including the anode active material exhibit excellent charge/discharge characteristics, such as discharge capacity and initial charge/discharge efficiency.

The image signal compensation unit shifts a value of the input image signal corresponding to the first pixel by a first value with respect to a common voltage, shifts a value of the input image signal corresponding to the second pixel by a second value with respect to the common voltage, and shifts a value of the input image signal corresponding to the third pixel by a third value with respect to the common voltage.

    摘要: Composite cathode active materials comprising a composite oxide and an acid treated with an organic solvent are provided. The composite cathode active materials are prepared by treating mixtures of nickel-based composite oxides and organic acids with organic solvents. The active materials suppress gelation of the electrode slurries for a long period of time, even when the active materials are mixed with fluorine-based polymers, by decreasing the basicity of the slurries and the amount of lithium present on the surfaces of the active materials. As a result, electrode slurries having high stability can be prepared. Cathodes and lithium batteries comprising the slurries have excellent charge-discharge characteristics, including high capacity and excellent high rate discharge characteristics.

The portable terminal includes: a phone body having a plurality of keys and a microphone, which are disposed on an inner surface of the phone body; a folder having a main speaker and a main LCD, which are disposed on a inner surface of the folder; a hinge unit including a pair of side hinge arms and a center hinge arm, which enable the folder to be rotated -away from or towards the phone body, the side hinge arms being opposed to each other at one side of the phone body, the center hinge arm being disposed between the side hinge arms; a pair of side speakers provided at the side hinge arms, respectively, the side speakers being oriented in opposite directions along a hinge axis of the portable terminal, so that the side speakers produce sound in opposite directions along the hinge axis; and speaker covers arranged along the hinge axis to cover the side speakers, respectively, each of the speaker covers having at least one opening through which one of the side speakers is exposed, wherein each of the speaker covers is fixed to one of the side hinge arms by a first screw and a second screw, so as to cover an outer surface of said one of the side hinge arms, the first screw being screwed in a direction parallel to the hinge axis, the second screw being screwed into said one of the side hinge arms from an upper end of the hinge body in a direction perpendicular to the hinge axis.
