摘要: The described technology is generally directed towards over the air synchronization of network nodes. In general, the techniques disclosed herein can be implemented by a first base station node device and a second base station node device. A wireless backhaul connection between the base station node devices allows the first base station node device to connect to a core network via the second base station node device. The techniques disclosed herein can be implemented as a protocol including communications back and forth between the base station node devices, which enables measurement of communication delays such as propagation delays and processing delays. The base station node devices can then use the measured communication delays to better synchronize clocks used to time radio frequency transmissions.

摘要: In a 5G network, control unit (CU) can be connected to a radio access network controller (RC). In response to receiving measurement data from the CU, the RC can process the measurement data to determine polices and procedures related to radio resource management, and/or radio resource control, which can then be utilized to manage mobility, dual-connectivity, carrier aggregation, and/or integrated access and backhaul topology formation and routing. The measurement data provided by the CU can be provided directly to the RC without processing of the measurement data by the CU.

摘要: Various embodiments disclosed herein provide for facilitating creating a mesh connectivity between network nodes in a hierarchical network. According an embodiment, a method comprising receiving a first condition, wherein the first condition indicates whether to setup a mesh connection with a first distributed unit node of a first node device. The method further comprising, in response to determining that the first condition indicates establishment of the mesh connection, facilitating establishing a peer-to-peer connection directly with the first distributed unit node of the first node device and a second distributed unit node of a second node device, wherein the first distributed unit node comprises wireless communication technologies and the second distributed unit node comprises wireless communication technologies. The method further comprising facilitating transmission of a control message or a user plane message in order to exchange connection information between the first distributed unit node and the second distributed unit node.

摘要: A closed loop carrier sense multiple access multiuser request to send and clear to send handshaking system is provided to efficiently allocate licensed and unlicensed spectrum for a plurality of mobile devices and across different base stations and mobile network operators. A user equipment device can be connected to a base station device via a first frequency in licensed spectrum, and a second frequency in unlicensed spectrum. The air interface on the first frequency can then be used to coordinate physical and virtual carrier sensing on a second frequency among a plurality of user equipment devices. Moreover, carrier sensing results from a plurality of UEs can be reported a base station device via the first frequency in licensed spectrum. The base station device can then schedule multiple user multiple input, multiple output (MU-MIMO) transmissions to a plurality of UEs on the second frequency in unlicensed spectrum.

摘要: In a 5G network, an adaptation layer of a child integrated access backhaul (IAB) node can send a quality metric to its parent IAB node. The quality metric can indicate to the parent IAB node, information that may not be readily available to the parent IAB node. Such a quality metric can be transmitted by the child IAB node to the parent IAB node via a header field of an adaptation layer packet data unit (PDU) on an uplink channel of an IAB link. Thus, the parent IAB node can make a more efficient routing decision based on data, to which otherwise, the parent IAB node may not ordinarily be privy.

摘要: The disclosed subject matter is directed towards highly reliable Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request (HARQ) retransmission procedures, including to provide different levels of reliability for Sidelink transmissions. A scheduler node schedule a data transmission by a transmitter node, and can receive (and store) the data packet transmission. If the scheduler node receives a negative acknowledgement (NAK) from the receiver node, the scheduler node can allocate resources to the transmitter node to perform a retransmission of the data packet, and/or retransmit a copy of the data packet from the scheduler node to the receiver node. The scheduler node can inform the receiver node that a retransmission is being sent by the transmitter node and the scheduler node.

The scheduler user equipment receives a scheduling request for the scheduling of the resources for transmission of data by a transmitter user equipment, and based on the traffic type requested, schedules the transmitter user equipment and receiver user equipment(s) with scheduling data/allocated radio resources. The transmitter user equipment can directly transmit to the receiver user equipment(s) on the allocated radio resources, e.g., without further involvement of the scheduler user equipment/local manager. For cellular data, the scheduler user equipment can schedule the transmitter user equipment to transmit to the scheduler user equipment as a receiver node.

Further, the operations can comprise, based on determining a lack of the presence of the activity in the second beam, transmitting a signal via the second beam. In an example, analyzing the presence of the activity in the second beam can be performed prior to completion of the determining the first inactivity in the first beam.

In one example, a method comprises: determining, by a mobile device that was communicatively coupled to a defined network via a first distribution unit (DU) of DUs, that a connection between the mobile device and a base station device, via a first beam, in a network fails to satisfy a defined condition; selecting a second beam associated with a second DU and to which to connect; and transmitting, via the second beam, to the defined network, a radio link interruption message comprising re-assignment information to facilitate re-assignment of the mobile device to the second beam from the first beam, wherein the transmitting is performed via a mobile device identification message of a random access procedure and wherein the transmitting is performed based on the first DU being determined to be different from the second DU.
