    摘要: The present invention provides a brush holder assembly enabling a common brush holder frame to be used regardless of the direction in which a lead is to pass out, improving productivity and preventing decreases in quality due to the incorrect mounting of parts, etc. A plurality of brush holder frames are secured to a base such that the openings of respective brush receiving recesses face a passage and the axes of the brush receiving recesses are directed towards the central axis of the passage. Lead outlet grooves are disposed in both sides of each of the brush holder frames so that each extends from a first end towards a second end and joins the respective brush receiving recess to the outside. Brushes are inserted into the brush receiving recesses so that leads attached to the side thereof pass through one of the lead outlet grooves in said brush holder frames and are held by each of the brush holder frames.

    摘要: In an epicycle reduction gear type starter device comprising a ring-shaped internal gear 20 which is molded from resin and secured to a front frame so as to engage with planet gears driven by a DC motor, the internal gear 20 has ribs 21 in the outer periphery of an annular inner portion and which are substantially equal in thickness and are arranged at substantially equal angular intervals, and a cylinder 22 which is small in wall thickness to which the outer radial edges of the ribs are connected, locking protrusions 23 are formed on the cylinder 22 which are locked to the front frame so as to prevent the rotation of the internal gear, and through-holes 24 are formed in the locking protrusions 23, respectively, into which through-bolts are inserted to secure the DC motor and the front frame. According to the arrangements, the teeth of the internal gear are prevented from being broken, and the lowering in gear accuracy of the internal gear is prevented which is caused when, in molding the, internal gear, the portion of the molding is deformed which corresponds to the locking means which is engaged with the starter frame for prevention of the rotation of the internal gear.

An oil seal ring (19) extending circumferentially around the armature rotary shaft (2) is mounted to the housing (17) between the solenoid switch (5) and the motor ( 1) for sealingly contacting the armature rotary shaft (2) to seal the annular clearance therearound. The seal ring also maintains the armature rotary shaft (2) in a concentric relationship with respect to the armature rotary shaft (2).

    摘要: A solenoid switch for a coaxial engine starter comprises within a cylindrical case 31 a solenoid coil 33 wound around a hollow bobbin 34. The case supports stationary contact assemblies 42, 43 each composed of an electrical conductor 44 including a stationary contact element 45 and an electrically insulating member 46 disposed around the conductor so that the stationary contact element is within a cylindrical space 36 of the bobbin. A movable contact 39 is mounted on a plunger 37 which is magnetically actuatable by the solenoid coil for separably engaging with the stationary contact elements. The outer surface 50 of a tubular wall 47 of the bobbin is oval in cross-section so that thicker-wall portions 47a are defined between the inner and the outer surfaces 49, 50. The thicker-wall portions have recesses 51 for partially receiving the insulating members, which are sufficiently thick to provide the necessary electrical insulation for the conductors 44, and a sufficient radial spacing is provided for accommodating through bolts 24 for securing the solenoid switch to the starter motor 1.
