    摘要: A rotor of a rotary electric machine according to the present invention includes: a rotor core arranged on the outer circumferential side of a rotor shaft; and a plurality of magnetic poles fixed to the rotor core and circumferentially arranged on the rotor core, the rotor including a non-magnetic ring attached by insertion to the outer circumference of the plurality of the magnetic poles and having a substantially polygonal shape in outer circumferential shape. The non-magnetic ring is configured such that the inner circumferential length L of the non-magnetic ring before assembly with respect to the length of an envelope L0 of tangent lines each between the outer circumferential surface of the magnetic pole and the outer circumferential surface of the adjacent magnetic pole is set to L≦L0. An object is to obtain the rotor of the rotary electric machine capable of achieving reduction in size and cost.

    摘要: The present invention provides a brushless motor in which the voltage utilization ratio can be increased and the torque and output of the motor can thereby be increased, and also provides a drive method for a brushless motor. The brushless motor includes an armature constituted by an armature core having armature windings of a plurality of phases, and a field pole constituted by a field pole core having a plurality of permanent magnets. A voltage, in which at least a 5th order harmonic component is superimposed on a 1st order fundamental wave of a voltage under predetermined phase difference condition and amplitude condition in order to increase a 1st order fundamental wave peak of the applied voltage over an applied voltage peak, is applied to the armature windings.

A (6p−1)-th higher harmonic wave and a (6p−1)-th higher harmonic wave (p represents a positive integer) when an electrical angle of 360° is set as a fundamental wave in the no-load induced voltage waveform are made substantially coincident with each other in amplitude and phase.
