Abstract: Some embodiments provide a commute application that receives a selection of a route from several different routes. Each route in the several different routes includes several stops. In response, the commute application also provides a dynamic focus table that includes a first portion for displaying a schedule of stops along the selected route and a second portion for displaying metadata regarding the selected route. The metadata presented in the second portion is automatically updated whenever a different schedule of stops is displayed in the first portion of the dynamic focus table.

Abstract: Methods, systems, computer-readable media, and apparatuses for facilitating message composition are presented. In some embodiments, an electronic computing device can receive user input and determine a set of contextual attributes based on the user input. The device can determine a language based on the set of contextual attributes to determine the language desired to be used for the message composition and switch a keyboard layout to one corresponding to the determined language. Abstract: An electronic device, with a touch-sensitive surface, displays a respective control, which is associated with respective contact intensity criteria, used to determine whether or not a function associated with the respective control will be performed. The device detects a gesture on the touch-sensitive surface, corresponding to an interaction with the respective control. In accordance with a determination that the gesture does not include a contact that meets the respective contact intensity criteria, the device changes the appearance of the respective control to indicate progress toward meeting the respective contact intensity criteria that is used to determine whether or not a function associated with the respective control will be performed. In response to detecting activation of the control, the device performs the function associated with the respective control in accordance with the detected gesture including a contact that meets the respective contact intensity criteria.

Abstract: In an exemplary method performed at an electronic device with a touch-sensitive display. The method includes concurrently displaying a first application and a second application on the touch-sensitive display. The method also includes detecting a first contact at a border between the concurrently displayed first and second applications. Abstract: An electronic device detects a contact associated with a focus selector that controls movement of a respective user interface object; and while continuously detecting the contact, the device detects first movement of the contact. Abstract: Some embodiments provide a method for displaying a graphical user interface (GUI) for an electronic device. The method receives input to display files recently opened on the electronic device. In response to the input, the method displays a chronologically-arranged graphical representation of files recently opened on the electronic device from two or more applications that operate on the electronic device. The files are arranged in several groups based on when the files were open on the electronic device. A first group of the several groups is selectable to initiate opening of several files in the first group so that the files in the first group are open concurrently.
