摘要: The present disclosure relates to systems, non-transitory computer readable media, and methods for determining a transit route to a destination and generating a shortened graphical summary of the transit route to present on a computing device. For instance, in some cases, a system determines a transit route by which transit vehicles transport a user along route segments to a destination. The system further generates or configures a graphical route summary that includes segment graphics representing route segments from the transit route. To shorten the graphical route summary to fit within a graphical user interface, the system can successively perform one or both of (i) segment-level-truncation operations on individual segment graphics and (ii) summary-level-truncation operations on the graphical route summary. The system can further present a truncated graphical route summary in the graphical user interface based on one or both the segment-level-truncation operations and the summary-level-truncation operations.

摘要: A process for tracking a user's use of available modes of transportation during a trip between an origin and a destination, the process comprising: generating a plurality of prospective trip plan (PTP) segments, the PTP segments being arranged into sequences that provide PTPs from the origin to the destination, each PTP segment being characterized by a transportation mode; collecting a travel data set comprising at least one travel measurement for each of a plurality of intermediary timepoints between the user leaving the origin and arriving at the destination; and determining a most probable time series of PTP segments traveled by the user based on an emissions matrix defining a probabilistic relationship between a PTP segment and a travel measurement, a transitions matrix characterizing a likelihood of the user transitioning from one PTP segment of the plurality of PTP segments to another, and the travel data set.

摘要: Some embodiments provide a map application that identities a transit route that includes one or more transit legs between a starting location and a destination location. In response to a request to start navigating the identified transit route, the map application of some embodiments provides a first display area for displaying a set of navigation instructions, each of which describes a transit maneuver that is associated with a transit leg of the transit route. The map application also provides a second display area for displaying a map region presentation associated with the navigation instruction that is displayed in the first display area.

The systems and/or methods determine a threshold distance to the address associated with displaying images of an environment along the route. As a device associated with a delivery personnel travels within the threshold, the device displays the image(s) of the environment. Additional image(s) are presented based on arriving at the address. The additional image(s) represent a structure associated with the address. The route is displayed along with the additional image(s) to allow the delivery personnel to efficiently make the delivery.

摘要: In one embodiment, a method of selecting a route for a user is disclosed. The method includes a routing computer presenting a map on a display operably coupled to the routing computer. The routing computer receives a start location and distance criteria via user input, and a plurality of routing criteria. The routing computer determines a plurality of routes that start and end at the start location based on the distance criteria and the routing criteria, and displays at least one of the plurality of routes on the map. Further, the routing computer receives route editing instructions via user input, and modifies at least one of the plurality of routes based on the editing instructions to create one or more modified routes.
