Abstract: Embodiments of a User Equipment (UE), Generation Node-B (gNB) and methods of communication are disclosed herein. The UE may attempt to decode sidelink synchronization signals (SLSSs) received on component carriers (CCs) of a carrier aggregation. In one configuration, synchronization resources for SLSS transmissions may be aligned across the CCs at subframe boundaries in time, restricted to a portion of the CCs, and restricted to a same sub-frame. The UE may, for multiple CCs, determine a priority level for the CC based on indicators in the SLSSs received on the CC. The UE may select, from the CCs on which one or more SLSSs are decoded, the CC for which the determined priority level is highest. The UE may determine a reference timing for sidelink communication based on the one or more SLSSs received on the selected CC.

Abstract: User equipment (UE) positioning within a 5G New Radio (NR) network may be determined by receiving a downlink (DL) position reference signal (PRS) resource set indicating a plurality of DL PRS resources and receiving a DL PRS report configuration that indicates a set of measurements to be performed by a UE for each of the plurality of DL PRS resources within the DL PRS resource set. Position measurements may be performed for each of the plurality of DL PRS resources within the DL PRS resource set, including generating a reference signal time difference (RSTD) measurement by estimating a timing of a first arrival path from at least two of the plurality of DL PRS resources and determining a reference signal received power (RSRP) metric or a signal to noise and interference ratio (SINR) metric associated with the at least two DL PRS resources. The performed position measurements may be reported.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and storage media for reporting geo-information in wireless communications networks are described. In embodiments, a roadside unit (RSU) may instruct or configure a user equipment (UE) to report its geo-information to other UEs and/or receive other geo-information from the other UEs over vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) sidelinks. In embodiments, the RSU or a core network element may allocate radio resources for V2V communications to geographic areas and/or based on reported geo-information. In embodiments, the UE may use its geo-information and/or the obtained geo-information to select resources from the allocation for transmission or receipt of V2V messages. Abstract: Technology for an eNodeB operable to resolve predefined types of concurrent communications at a relay user equipment (UE) is disclosed. The eNodeB can identify the relay UE that is configured to relay proximity services (ProSe) traffic between the eNodeB and a remote UE. The relay UE can be in-coverage of the eNodeB and the remote UE can be in-coverage or out-of-coverage of the eNodeB. The eNodeB can communicate control signaling to at least one of the relay UE and the remote UE to resolve predefined types of communications performed at the relay UE or the remote UE to defined subframes. The control signaling can provide concurrency avoidance at the relay UE for predefined types of concurrent communications between the relay UE and at least one of the eNodeB and the remote UE.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) can include processing circuitry coupled to memory. To configure the UE for New Radio (NR) communications above a 52.6 GHz carrier frequency, the processing circuitry is to decode radio resource control (RRC) signaling to obtain a cyclic shift value in time domain. The cyclic shift value is associated with a demodulation reference signal (DM-RS) antenna port (AP) of a plurality of available DM-RS APs. A single carrier based waveform DM-RS sequence corresponding to the DM-RS AP is generated using a base sequence and the cyclic shift value. The single carrier based waveform DM-RS sequence is encoded with uplink data for transmission to a base station using a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) using a carrier above the 52.6 GHz carrier frequency.

Abstract: Implementations of this disclosure generally may relate to the field of wireless communications. More specifically, implementations described in this disclosure relate to different 3GPP LTE and LTE-A system enhancements to address the issue and support reliable V2X operation in the high mobility environments. Abstract: Embodiments of a User Equipment (UE), Generation Node-B (gNB) and methods of communication are disclosed herein. The UE may receive a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) that schedules a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) in a slot, and on a component carrier (CC) of a plurality of CCs. The PDCCH may include a total downlink assignment index (DAI) and a counter DAI for hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) feedback of the PDSCH. The total DAI may indicate a total number of pairs of CCs and slots for the HARQ-ACK feedback. The UE may encode the HARQ-ACK feedback to include a bit that indicates whether the PDSCH is successfully decoded. A size of the HARQ-ACK feedback may be based on the total DAI, and a position of the bit may be based on the counter DAI.
