Abstract: The invention discloses a segment protection method for an Ethernet tunnel, there are two segment protection domains with a shared link in a Provider Backbone Bridge-Traffic Engineering (PBB-TE) network, and at least one of the two segment protection domains works in a non-revertive mode, and when a simultaneous failures of working segments of two segment protection domains recover or a failure of the shared node of the working segments recovers, the shared node of the working segments switches all the FDB entries of bidirectional ESPs of all the TESIs protected by the protection domains to standby entries, and after switching, out ports of the FDB entries of the ESPs are the ports connecting the shared segment. The invention also discloses a shared node of working segments of protection domains correspondingly. The invention is able to ensure that the bidirectional ESPs are co-routed after the failure recovering.

Abstract: A humidifier pad assembly for a humidifier that is configured for adding humidity to an air stream of an HVAC system of a building or other structure. The humidifier pad assembly may include a frame for holding a replaceable humidifier pad within the housing of the humidifier. The frame may be structured to hold the replaceable humidifier pad within the housing such that a back major surface of the replaceable humidifier pad generally faces the back side of the housing, and a front opposing major surface of the humidifier pad generally faces the front side of the housing. The frame may further be structured to permit removal and replacement of the replaceable humidifier pad through the front side of the frame. In some cases, the housing may be configured such that the frame (and the replaceable humidifier pad) may be slid out of apertures in the right side and/or left side of the housing. In some instances, the humidifier may include a drain funnel structured to collect water from substantially the entire bottom side of the frame and direct the water to a water drain. The drain funnel may be structured to allow the frame to be slidably moved (e.g. in the left and/or right direction) relative to the drain funnel and removed from the housing through at least one of the left side or the right side of the housing. In some cases, a water distributor is releasably attachable to the frame along a top side of the frame.

Abstract: An adaptive load limiting seat belt retractor particularly adapted for motor vehicle applications. The retractor provides multiple levels of load limiting through the use of a pair of internal torsion bar elements. The torsion bar elements control the tension force on the seat belt webbing during an impact in a manner which provides desirable crash management characteristics. The retractor can be switched between high and low load limiting modes through activation of a pyrotechnic pretensioner. When the pyrotechnic pretensioner is not activated, the retractor provides a low load level characteristic. Pretensioner activation switches the retractor into a high load level operating condition. A high load limiting level is provided when the pretensioner is not activated if the spindle rotation exceeds a limited level in the low load limiting condition. A degressive load limiting feature may be provided to cause load limiting to begin at a higher level than the high load limiting level, and then step down the high load limiting level.
