    摘要: A display device and a method of manufacturing the same are provided. The display device includes an illuminate unit and a color filter. The illuminate unit has a light-emitting chip and a plurality of quantum dot phosphors for generating a color light which has an optical spectrum including the first blue peak wavelength, a first green peak wavelength, and a first red peak wavelength. The color filter is disposed in the light path of the color light, wherein the color filter has a transmittance spectrum having a second blue peak wavelength, a second green peak wavelength, and a second red peak wavelength. The first blue peak wavelength, the first green peak wavelength, and the first red peak wavelength respectively match the second blue peak wavelength, the second green peak wavelength, and the second red peak wavelength in order to enhance the color performance of the display device.

    摘要: Disclosed are compositions and synthetic methods of phosphors that can be efficiently excited by blue light. The wavelength of the blue light is between 400 nm to 480 nm. The phosphors contain garnet fluorescent material activated with cerium, which contain Ba, Y, Tb, Lu, Sc, La, Gd, Sm, or combinations thereof, and Al, Ga, In, or combinations thereof. In addition, the phosphors are easily and quickly prepared in a large amount. The phosphors have high thermal stability and high emission intensity, therefore, being high of value in industry for utilization.

    摘要: A light emitting apparatus includes a blue light emitting diode (LED), a first and second phosphor layers. The second phosphor layer is between the blue LED and the first phosphor layer. When a blue beam of a shorter wavelength excites the phosphor layers, the excitation efficiency of the first phosphor layer is greater than that of the second phosphor layer. When a blue beam of a longer wavelength excites the phosphor layers, the excitation efficiency of the first phosphor layer is less than that of the second phosphor layer. Moreover, the wavelength of the peak intensity of the light beam from the first phosphor layer is shorter than that of the second phosphor layer. And, the dividing value between the shorter wavelength and the longer wavelength is within the range from a first wavelength to a second wavelength.

    摘要: The present invention describes an apparatus and method for manufacturing a white light-emitting diode (LED) using a powder with characteristics of fluorescence to achieve a high-luminosity white LED. The LED emitting ultraviolet light is used as an excitation source, which excites a first powder with blue-green light, and a second powder with orange light. After that, a white light is produced by blending blue-green and orange light with the principle of complementary colors. For achieving the high-luminosity white LED, the invention adopts a suitable LED to be the excitation source with a suitable blending proportion. On the other hand, the implementation of the fluorescent powder with blue-green light can be modulated using a metal ion in the host lattice to change the ligard field of the crystal.

    摘要: A method for manufacturing white light source includes the steps of providing an ultra-violet light as radiation source; and preparing two kinds of phosphors each receiving the ultra-violet light and emitting light of different wavelength. One phosphor is designated to emit light covering two wavelength regimes of three primitive colors, i.e., red light (585-640 nm), green light (500-570 nm) and blue light (430-490 nm), and another phosphor is designated to emit light covering remaining wavelength regime of the three primitive colors. The phosphors are mixed in predetermined ratio such that the lights of different wavelength are combined to provide a white light.
