摘要: A method includes determining, by a controller, a presence of an available electrical energy quantity generated from an energy generation event; comparing, by the controller, the available electrical energy quantity to an available energy capacity of a battery storage system; and responsive to determining the available electrical energy quantity exceeds the available energy capacity of the battery storage system, causing, by the controller, a transmission of at least a portion of the available energy quantity to a heat management system.

摘要: Systems and methods to control the vehicle speed of a vehicle includes a controller communicatively coupled to a motor and a brake mechanism. The controller is structured to receive an indication of a desired change in the vehicle speed, activate a motor speed governor responsive to the brake mechanism being in a released state, adjust an output torque responsive to the vehicle speed, wherein as a load corresponding to the motor increases the vehicle speed decreases.

摘要: A system for a non-hybrid/non-electric vehicle includes a high voltage electromagnetic device and a power electronics system. The high voltage electromagnetic device is structured to couple to an engine and generate AC electrical power from the engine. The power electronics system is electrically coupled to the high voltage electromagnetic device. The power electronics system includes an AC-to-DC inverter and a junction box. The AC-to-DC inverter is structured to receive and change the AC electrical power to regulated DC electrical power. The junction box is structured to receive and provide the regulated DC electrical power to a plurality of electrical paths that electrically couple the junction box to a plurality of electrically-powered accessories. The regulated DC electrical power is provided to each of the plurality of electrically-powered accessories based on an electric power consumption need of each respective electrically-powered accessory.

摘要: A method is provided for scheduling regenerative braking torque, comprising: sensing a position of an accelerator pedal; generating a torque request value in response to the sensed accelerator pedal position; determining a speed of operation of a motor/generator; determining a torque limit in response to the torque request value and the determined speed of the motor/generator; generating a regenerative braking command in response to the torque limit; and outputting the regenerative braking command to the motor/generator.

摘要: Controls for improved performance of a vehicle equipped with start-stop control logic are disclosed. Deviation from nominal engine start-stop control logic for the internal combustion engine occurs when a predetermined mission related type of stop event will occur or is occurring that is different from other stop event types that are controlled by the nominal engine start-stop control logic. At least one of a location and a payload associated with the mission related stop event type is provided as an input to the controller before the vehicle arrives at the stop event so that operating parameters of the vehicle are controlled accordingly.
