摘要: Methods, apparatuses, and systems for controlling regenerative braking of a vehicle are disclosed. A user interface facilitates a user to provide an input to select an operating mode for the vehicle, the operating mode selected from one of selectable modes comprising: (i) manually controlled regenerative braking mode and (ii) automatically controlled regenerative braking mode. When the (i) mode is selected, the controller applies a scaling factor to the regenerative torque capability curve of the vehicle based on additional user input. When the (ii) mode is selected, the controller automatically applies the scaling factor based on one or more traction control events and environmental factors.

摘要: Methods and systems for operating a vehicle on a reduced traction surface are disclosed. A controller of the vehicle obtains at least one of: ambient information or GPS information, determines a derate increment size based on the ambient or GPS information, imposes a sustained derate by applying a torque limit on a braking torque of the vehicle based on the derate increment size in response to detecting a traction control event. The controller also determines a verification period and a derate reduction period based on the ambient or GPS information to reduce the sustained derate in response to detecting a lack of traction control event during the verification period at a rate determined by the derate reduction period.

摘要: An apparatus includes a position circuit structured to monitor a position of an accelerator of a vehicle and a speed circuit structured to monitor a speed of the vehicle. The position corresponds with an associated response of a prime mover of the vehicle. The associated response includes at least one of a torque output and a power output of the prime mover. The apparatus further includes a response management circuit structured to receive an indication regarding the position of the accelerator and the speed of the vehicle; determine that the indication satisfies a remapping condition, the remapping condition including at least one of a creep condition, an obstacle condition, a deceleration condition, and a reverse condition; and dynamically remap the associated response of the prime mover of the vehicle based on the position of the accelerator in response to the indication satisfying the remapping condition.

The stop/start module is configured to determine a target start/stop ratio for an engine based on an operating parameter, determine an actual start/stop ratio for the engine based on a determined number of times that the engine is turned off in response to a determined number of stopping events, activate an inhibiting condition in response to the actual stop ratio being greater than the target stop ratio at a beginning of a driving event, and prevent the engine from turning off during a stop event in response to determining that the inhibiting condition is active and that a stopping event has occurred.
