    摘要: An integral optical plate includes a convex lens plate, a microlens sheet and an adhesion element. The convex lens plate includes a first light incident surface into which light is incident and a first light-exiting surface disposed opposite the first light incident surface and on which a convex tens pattern is formed. The microlens sheet is disposed on the first light-exiting surface, and includes a microlens pattern. The adhesion element is disposed between the convex lens plate and the microlens sheet to combine the convex lens plate with the microlens sheet.     摘要: An optical sheet includes a diffusion layer, a brightness enhancement layer, and a reflecting pattern layer. The diffusion layer diffuses the light generated from a light source, e.g. a lamp. The brightness enhancement layer is on the diffusion layer. The reflecting pattern layer is between the brightness enhancement layer and includes a gap and a reflective structure in a first region and a second region, respectively. to the reflective structure maintains a distance between the brightness enhancement layer and the diffusion layer. The optical sheet is useful for enhancing the luminance of the light from the lamp. When used with a backlight assembly for a display device, the optical sheet is capable of enhancing the luminance while also decreasing the overall thickness of the backlight assembly.

    摘要: A liquid crystal display device includes a display unit for displaying images, a backlight unit which has a lamp for emitting light to the display unit, a light guiding plate for directing the light emitted from the lamp toward the display unit, and a reflecting member provided adjacent, such as under, the light guiding plate, and an optical film unit provided between the display unit and the backlight unit. The reflecting member includes a first supporting layer, a reflecting layer provided on the first supporting layer, and a bead layer provided on the reflecting layer. By forming the reflecting layer using Al, the production cost lowers and the high brightness characteristic is obtained. By forming the bead layer using silicon based materials or nylon based materials having smooth surface characteristics, it is possible to prevent the light guiding plate and the reflecting layer from being scratched.

    摘要: In a backlight assembly and an LCD apparatus having the same, the backlight assembly includes a lamp that generates light and a light guiding plate. The light guiding plate includes a light incident surface, a light reflecting surface and a light exiting surface. The light generated from the lamp is incident into the light incident surface. The light reflecting surface is extended from a side of the light incident surface. The light reflecting surface has a prism pattern. The light exiting surface is extended from another side of the light incident surface. An angle formed between the light incident surface and the light exiting surface is smaller than about 90 degrees, and the light incident surface and the light reflecting surface face each other.
