    摘要: An apparatus and a method for measuring a property of a blood sample is shown. The apparatus comprises of a housing having an aperture; a shaft mounted inside the housing; a testing member rotatably mounted on the shaft; an actuating member coupled to the housing and configured to exert a force against the testing member; and a lancet for eliciting a blood sample fixedly coupled to and protruding substantially radially from the testing member and configured to co-rotate with the testing member. The apparatus is further configured such that the lancet is aligned with the aperture in the housing when the testing member is in a first position. The testing member is configured, in the presence of a force exerted against the testing member by the actuator member, to translate to a second position in which the lancet is in a skin penetrating position.

    摘要: A valve train of a combustion piston engine having an actuating device which comprises a phase shift gearbox with two inputs and an output for phase adjustment of a camshaft. The first input is connected with a crankshaft, the second input is connected with a controllable braking device and the output is rotationally fixed with the camshaft. The brake is an electromagnetically controlled friction brake which comprises an electromagnet and magnetic coil. A brake rotor is connected with the second input and can be biased, by the magnetic field of the electromagnet, against a friction surface. A permanent magnet is positioned axially adjacent the brake rotor such that, by its magnetic field, the brake rotor can be pressed against a fixed friction surface for the adjustment of a basic brake torque with the respective basic pressing force.

The armature is rotationally fixed and axially slidable, and centered on or at a transmission component, and the switching coil is rotationally fixed and centered coaxially with the armature by a membrane spring on a further transmission component, relative to which the armature is braked or to which the armature is coupled.

    摘要: In a replacement gate approach, a top area of a gate opening has a superior cross-sectional shape which is accomplished on the basis of a plasma assisted etch process or an ion sputter process. During the process, a sacrificial fill material protects sensitive materials, such as a high-k dielectric material and a corresponding cap material. Consequently, the subsequent deposition of a work function adjusting material layer may not result in a surface topography which may result in a non-reliable filling-in of the electrode metal. In some illustrative embodiments, the sacrificial fill material may also be used as a deposition mask for avoiding the deposition of the work function adjusting metal in certain gate openings in which a different type of work function adjusting species is required.
