Abstract:
Aspects of the present disclosure relate to a system comprising a computer-readable storage medium storing at least one program and a method for optimizing and controlling the physical and business aspects of an industrial system. In example embodiments, the method may include assessing criteria to be applied to an industrial system, and generating simulation scenarios based on the criteria. The method may further include simulating each of the simulation scenarios over a period of time to generate simulated physical aspects and simulated business aspects of the industrial system for each of the plurality of simulation scenarios. The method may further include identifying at least one of the simulation scenarios for use with the industrial system based on a comparison of the simulated physical aspects and the simulated business aspects corresponding to each simulation scenario.
Abstract:
According to some embodiments, a model building platform may receive a set of historic industrial plant parameters associated with operation of a plurality of industrial plants over a period of time. The model building platform may automatically create a generative model based on relationships detected within the set of historic industrial plant parameters. A model execution platform may then receive incomplete industrial plant information associated with a particular industrial plant, and automatically generate supplemented industrial plant data based on the received incomplete industrial plant information and the generative model. An indication of the supplemented industrial plant data may then be output.
Abstract:
Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture are disclosed to manage care pathways and associated resources. An example apparatus includes a system monitor to coordinate a patient data analyzer and a care pathway processor to at least: identify a first patient record associated with a first care pathway; and identify a second patient record that is not on the first care pathway but should be on the first care pathway. The example apparatus includes a graphical user interface including information regarding, in a first area, the first patient record associated with the first care pathway and, in a second area, the second patient record that should be associated with the first care pathway.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to the reduction of pressure ulcers and falls with respect to patients with physical or cognitive impairments who are in bed. A control system assures that the bed and ancillary apparatus are physically set and that patient behaviors are responded to by care providers. Motion is monitored with a non-mutually exclusive portfolio of sensors, and this information is used by one or more reasoning engines. An integrated clinical workflow is informed by the patterns of movement and then the physical environment, patient interaction, and care provider workflow are controlled to reduce the incidence of falls and pressure ulcers in bed ridden patients.
Abstract:
The system and method disclosed herein provides an integrated and automated workflow, sensor, and reasoning system that automatically detects breaches in protocols, appropriately alarms and records these breaches, facilitates staff adoption of protocol adherence, and ultimately enables the study of protocols for care comparative effectiveness. The system provides real-time alerts to medical personnel in the actual processes of care, thereby reducing the number of negative patient events and ultimately improving staff behavior with respect to protocol adherence.
Abstract:
A method of generating a recommendation of terms of an aircraft services contract is disclosed. Operations data pertaining to a planned usage of each aircraft of a fleet of aircraft is received. The operations data pertains to the fleet of aircraft for which an aircraft services customer seeks to enter into a services contract with an aircraft services provider. The operations data includes flight schedule data and flight policy data specific to each of the aircraft. Historical data pertaining to actual usage of other fleets of aircraft with respect to the flight schedule data and the flight policy data is analyzed. The analyzing includes generating an estimation of a risk associated with the services contract from the perspective of the aircraft services provider. An acceptable price for the services contract is generated such that the risk is mitigated from the perspective of the services provider. The terms pertaining to the service contract are communicated for presentation in a user interface. The terms include the acceptable price with respect to the operations data and the flight policy data.

Abstract:
A method of providing a first set of computer systems with access to a recommendation pertaining to operation of one aircraft in one or more fleets of aircraft is disclosed. Operations data is collected at the first set of computer systems. The operations data pertains to operations of the one or more fleets of aircraft over a time period. The operations data is stored in one or more databases of a second set of computer systems. The operations data includes values corresponding to fields in the one or more databases. The fields represent at least one of policy data pertaining to one or more operations policies, flight schedule data pertaining to one or more flight schedules, and operating cost data pertaining to operating costs associated with the one or more fleets of aircraft. Assumptions of control input values are derived for use by the first set of computer systems based on the operations data. A cost savings analysis is performed with a simulation system for at least one aircraft of the one or more fleets of aircraft, the cost savings analysis including identifying a modification of at least one of the control input values. An estimated reduction of operating costs is computed for the aircraft over one or more time periods. The computing is based on comparisons of a first subset of the operations data with a second subset of the operations data.
